Giuseppe is a wonderful, helpful and informative host. He has transformed the building floor into 3 wonderful stylish bedrooms with a central room for your self service breakfast. Everywhere was spacious and clean. We stayed in the 'Earth Room' which had a wonderful view of a traditional stone cobbled, narrow street. The Cibele is centrally located for Romes's attractions, restuarants and bars. The... More

My second visit to Rome and I didn't hesitate to book Cibele again. Giuseppe makes it so easy and relaxing, from booking and transfers to friendly advice and reconditions all while staying in an immaculately clean, stylish apartment. Perfect location and easy walking distance from all of Rome's attractions

My wife & I stayed at Cibele B&B in July 2014 and Absolutely loved it! The rooms are so moden & beautiful & Giuseppe was single handedly the best host we have ever had. I'd say Giuseppe is up there with the best hosts in the world!!! It was our ten year Anniversary and after an amazing day of beautiful... More

AREA: Locally popular area in the south of the city - away from main tourist areas and very close to the Colosseum. Gelato, night clubs, cafes, restaurant, nearby palazzo popular with the locals for night time socializing and drinking. Very few English speakers in this area which is very reassuring, for a more authentic Roman experience. No trouble ordering anywhere... More

I can't imagine having any better experience in a bed and breakfast than we had at Cibele. It was perfectly located, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and an overall delight. My husband and I stayed for three nights in late October, and had an amazing time. Giuseppe was the perfect host - friendly, helpful, available, knowledgeable about the city. He personally... More

In the lovely area of Monti where an array of restaurants, bars and shops are only a stone throw away. The underground of Cavour is a few steps away and just a bit further Termini station, the Colosseo and Piazza Venezia. The room we were in was probably the smallest but a really comfortable bed, a fresh, clean and modern... More

I do recommend this wonderful B&B. It is near the metro station which will take you wherever you want, or nearer at least... The area is very good: lively and with night life but not too boisterous. The place itself is awesome, clean and comfortable. Good taste for decoration: simple, modern cosy. What else?!! Well yes, something else: Giuseppe, its... More

What can I say about Cibele B&B that hasn't already been said... first of all the owner, Giuseppe, was the most helpful and kind host we could ever imagine having. Rome was our last stop in a 3 week tour of Italy for our honeymoon. My husband and I stayed in the "Water Room" at Cibele Bed and Breakfast after searching for quite some time for centrally-located, reasonably-priced lodging. We stayed for 3 nights and would most certainly not hesitate to stay here again. Guiseppe is a wonderful host, excellent... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
