B&B Orfeo is a true hidden Gem in Rome! Myself and my partner have just returned from Rome and spent 3 nights at B&B Orfeo and would implore any visitors to stay here. The accommodation is 5 minutes walk from the train/ bus terminal, is walking distance to all of the major tourist attractions, and is surrounded by many numerous... More

My husband and I stayed at B&B Orfeo's October 8-13, 2014 and were extremely pleased with our stay. I selected B&B Orfeo's because of its proximity to the train station, just a short 5-10 minute walk. The proximity to the train station, bus station and metro give you easy access the sights and the airport. I'll stay at B&B Orfeo's... More

We stayed here for 3 nights & it was so clean and convenient! It's a few minutes walk from the train station. Roberta and her husband don't live onsite but they are so lovely - We were given plenty of information and tips on arrival. Breakfast was nice with lots to choose from (Roberta even left extra food out for... More

First, I want to thank all the people who left the reviews of Orfeo’s. Stayed at Orfeo’s was purely based on those reviews and recommendations, and you know what, Orfeo’s was truly the best place I have ever stayed, it exceeded my expectations by miles! I stayed 4 nights at B&B Orfeo's on Nov. 2013. Roberta and her husband were very helpful, giving tips on the city and have a great sense of hospitality. Location is perfect: less than 10min from Termini and it's easy to walk to the city's main attractions. Price is a very good deal for Rome. Breakfast is just excellent. Rooms... More

I have stayed at this B&B twice now and I will stay here again the next time I travel to Rome. I've also sent 3 other family members and friends to this B&B. My husband and I arrived by train so we wanted something close to the train station but not too close. This was perfect since it was a... More

Great B&B near the Roma Termini. Flew into Rome to spend a few days sight seeing before picking up our cruise in Civitavecchia. Able to take the bus (4 euros pp) from the airport to the train station and just an easy 3 block walk to Orfeo's. Our room with ensuite washroom was very clean and appears to be recently... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
