Me and mum stayed at this place for two nights. Five star service, one star prices. The hosts were helpful and nice throughout every part of our stay. Bathroom was well stocked with more than you would ever need. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Bedroom was kept very clean and cosy, and the bed was comfortable. Location was also very... More

We'll stay at Orfeo's on any future trips to Rome or the Rome area. The owners are great hosts who keep clean, non-smoking, and comfortable rooms. The B&B is close to Termini, and to many restaurants and bars. Our room was quiet at night even with the window open. Roberta served an excellent breakfast which included an egg, fruit, cereal,... We stayed at Orfeos for a week recently and found the experience great. The owners went out of their way to be helpful and gave us information on the surrounding area and places to visit. They gave us explicit directions on how to reach the b and b, and made sure they were there for our arrival. It was really... More

Orfeo's was wonderful - the room was cleaner and cozier than any hotel I've stayed at in Italy, and the owners were fantastic hosts. They'll take care of all of your travel needs, have tour books and info there for you, and the breakfast spread was excellent, particularly compared to the typical hotel breakfast. Location near the train station is... More

B&B Orfeo is a true hidden Gem in Rome! Myself and my partner have just returned from Rome and spent 3 nights at B&B Orfeo and would implore any visitors to stay here. The accommodation is 5 minutes walk from the train/ bus terminal, is walking distance to all of the major tourist attractions, and is surrounded by many numerous... More

My husband and I stayed at B&B Orfeo's October 8-13, 2014 and were extremely pleased with our stay. I selected B&B Orfeo's because of its proximity to the train station, just a short 5-10 minute walk. The proximity to the train station, bus station and metro give you easy access the sights and the airport. I'll stay at B&B Orfeo's... More

We stayed here for 3 nights & it was so clean and convenient! It's a few minutes walk from the train station. Roberta and her husband don't live onsite but they are so lovely - We were given plenty of information and tips on arrival. Breakfast was nice with lots to choose from (Roberta even left extra food out for... More

I stayed 4 nights at B&B Orfeo's on Nov. 2013. Roberta and her husband were very helpful, giving tips on the city and have a great sense of hospitality. Location is perfect: less than 10min from Termini and it's easy to walk to the city's main attractions. Price is a very good deal for Rome. Breakfast is just excellent. Rooms... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
