on the morning of our departure we got a call saying our room was not available but that they have a similar one close by. It didn't look like on the pictures so we were disappointed. the guy that showed us the room was totally unfriendly and rude and we felt really uncomfortable. We will definitely not come back to... The positive points are that: b&b is very new and extremely clean. The location is also great, just next to a metro stop and walking distance from main train station, but in quite a nice area. Negative points: The bathroom is very small and there is not even a shelving or a small closet so you don't know where to... More

Myself and my friend stayed here in mid-August. It is a typical Roman B&B being situated on the first floor of an apartment building, the difference being that this is a very modern, clean and most importantly, air-conditioned B&B! I have stayed in Rome before & other B&B's are still literally still in the sixities - decor and cleanliness-wise! The... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
