Our family of 5 occupied both rooms on a recent trip to Rome and if this B&B is available, you should absolutely stay here. The building is in a nice neighborhood near the metro, The Vatican, and lots of wonderful restaurants. The service is excellent, and the unit itself is beautiful.

Guido and Giuila are very friendly and accommodating! The apt. is very comfortable and clean and in a fantastic area of Rome. One can not ask for a better location when visiting the Vatican (only 2 blocks away). One block away on Borgo Pio are some very nice and simple restaurants for a quiet, relaxed and late dinner. Also, talk... More

My wife and I recently stayed at B&B Roma Borgo91 with friends and found the location to be perfect for a visit to the Vatican (5 min. walk) and only a short walk (10 min.) to the Metro stop of Ottaviano which will connect you to most of the major sites in Rome. Essentially the B&B is a recently remodeled... More

I have spent 3 nights at this B&B in central Rome, a stone throw's away from the Vatican, in a residential building in the Borgo area of Rome. This area is central but quiet so offers a great place for a good night's sleep after a day of sightseeing and shopping in Rome. The B&B consists of two bedrooms and... More

We spent 3 days in this nice and very comfortable b&b. Perfect central location to stroll around in the "eternal" city, situated at a walking distance from a lot of places of interest (San Pietro, Castel Sant'Angelo just to mention a couple) and with a wide choice of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. The b&b is fully equipped, new,... More

Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighborhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighborhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighborhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
