I have spent 3 nights at this B&B in central Rome, a stone throw's away from the Vatican, in a residential building in the Borgo area of Rome. This area is central but quiet so offers a great place for a good night's sleep after a day of sightseeing and shopping in Rome.

Bed & Breakfast Roma Borgo91 is a recently restored residence located at the heart of the “Borgo" district, one of the most characteristic areas of central Rome, just 150 meters from St. Peter’s Square and Castel Sant'Angelo. A perfect location from which to explore Rome on foot, the Vatican City is literally at the end of the road and the Vatican Museums are but a 10 minute walk away. Roma Borgo91 is housed on the first floor of a XVIII century palazzo typical of the Borgo. It overlooks a communal courtyard accessed from balconies, which wrap around each floor, known as "Case di Cortina" and each floor is served by a modern lift.Roma Borgo91 was launched in the summer of 2012. The spacious and quiet double bedrooms, which are also available as single or twin occupancy, are thermo acoustically insulated and the windows double glazed to ensure maximum comfort. Rooms are furnished with antique walnut or mahogany furniture, the beds made up with crisp white linens and fluffy white towels and bathrobes are supplied.
