we stayed in City Life B&B during our 4 day holiday in Rome, it is a short walk from the Termini Station which is really handy. It was not obvious to spot as a B&B to start off with but that did not matter as we found the place central to tourist spots and close to amenities. You can even walk... More

Good point. Location. Bad points. Cash requirements at checkout. Unnecessary talking. Difficult to find the reception location

City Life actually only has four rooms but they overbook and make you stay at other places that do not match the quality of room you pay for. The receptionist Mila and the owner Franco are very rude and do not care at all that they are cheating and lying to their customers. My experience was terrible as we argued... More

The B&B is very clean. However I did not stay in the main building where there is the reception but in another building 2 minutes away. The B&B owns an apartment in the building and everything is new. There is a good kitchen however you are not allowed to cook. Despite the fact that they say there is wifi available... More

We stayed at City Life in Rome and found it to be very comfortable. Meila the receptionist was very kind and helpful. The room was spotless. It is in a very convenient location, being very close to the Stazione Termini. Hard to find, but if you look for the number of the street you will find a building with a... More

The place is near everything: the termini, restaurants, tabacchis, bus stops, laundromat, etc. Breakfast is great. Staff is corteous. Place is secured. They gave us Berlin, the smallest room, coz no other room was available. With our luggages, we can't barely move. Bathroom and toilet were big though. Anyway, I liked my stay at City Life.

We arrived in Rome via Termini station and only had a short walk to Via Montibello where the City Life B&B is located. Had some trouble finding the building as it is not labelled as other hotels are. It is a converted apartment in a block of apartments on the first floor. (There is a lift!) We had a lovely... More

Franco and Mila were super friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay there again! Very good location close to the train station and great places to eat! The breakfast was amazing! We were coming off a cold so Mila offered to make me tea in the evening to sooth my throat. Felt very welcome and this was my first bed... More

Tucked away within a very traditional apartment block near to Rome central station. Quite basic interior but very clean with modern ensuite bathroom. The owners, Mila and Franco, were very friendly and Mila served continental breakfast to my room. Very reasonable price for Rome.

I've been looking for a great place to stay over in Rome, a place not far from downtown, and well connected to the public transit. It happened to be that googling around me and my companion found CIty Life's website and got us curious. So we contacted the B&B and the receptionist was very welcoming on the phone already. The... Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
