We felt like we actually had an apartment in Rome! Inn Urbe is ideal for those who don't need all the bells an whistles (and costs) associated with a regular hotel. You are independent and self sufficient, enjoying a wonderful, quiet location in modern surroundings. Mere steps to the wonderful Monti neighbourhood where there are any number of caffes, restaurants... More

We couldn't have been more happy with Inn Urbe Colosseo. Walking distance to main attractions. Modern, clean with a wonderful host Sandra who made us excellent cappoccinos! Would definitely stay there again!

we stayed at both the colosseo and the vaticano locations, and they are simply really well conceived, operated, and executed hotels. really good design sensibilities and extremely good value. this is a good place if you want a place that feels like you rented an intimate apartment in rome and have people looking out for you. great showers which are... The apartment is a short walk from the metro station, making it very easy to get around Rome. Our room was very clean, and had a very comfortable queen bed. Wifi connection was strong the whole stay. The provided breakfast included tea and coffee, cereal, toasts and spreads. Each room in the apartment is individually lockable, and you hear very... More

We picked this B&B after reading some recommendations on TA and all of them are 100% true. The rooms are very clean, with a nice shower and bed. There is even a laptop available in each room. If you can choose pick one of the rooms in the back so you have no noise at all. Personnel are very friendly... More

We spent 3 nights here in late May 2014. It was a very nice room that looked and felt a bit upscale and very modern. The room was completely quiet and had great sleep. We were pleasantly surprised to learn the air conditioning was on. We had read and been told at other places that the government restricted use of... More

Very clean room, And a very personal touch. The breakfast was sumptuous and staff pretty helpful (considering the fact we were travelling with a very picky toddler). Massimo, our host, was full of tips and places to visit (for day and for night). The bathroom SAS very nice, esp the rain shower. And it is located very close to colosseo,... More

This is a lovely spot to stay for a fews days in Rome. Furnishings are modern and stylish. The room was very large and quiet (we didn't hear even a door slam from other rooms, etc). This neighborhood is up-and coming and was a few hundred meters from lovely boutiques and restaurants. It is very close to the metro, and... More

Staff was excellent and most helpful...which is sometimes hard to find in Rome! Sandra helped me enjoy a 3rd anniversary by supplying a bottle a champagne and some very tasty treats for our stay...so awesome! She was also very accommodating and willing to help. The B&B is perfectly located within a 10 minute walk of the Collosuem...piazza Venezia...old Rome and... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
