We stayed here at the beginning of May, I was drawn to booking it by the number of positive reviews that the guesthouse has - we were not disappointed. Situated on a busy road very close to the Vatican City, perfect location within walking distance of nearly everything - just make sure you take the map that's at reception so... More

My partner and I stayed here for a long weekend. From the moment we arrived I knew we made the right choice. The receptionist, Kelly (great girl), gave us the warmest welcome and then talked us through her personal recommendations of what to see and where to eat, annotating a map which she then gave us to take away. We... More

Stayed here at the end of May / beginning of June 2014 for 5 nights: perfect central location for getting to all the major sites and attractions and with that in mind it offers fantastic value! To be so central,The Rome River Inn is actually in a relatively quiet part of town - a perfect retreat after a long day's... More

Great value for the quality they provide. Stayed there during the winter (beginning of February) but the room was really warm and comfortable! Good breakfast with great cakes and really friendly staff. Definitely to return when returning to Rome!

From start to finish, our stay at the Rome River Inn couldn't have been better. On arrival, we were greeted by Kelly, who could not have been warmer or friendlier. Using a map, she took time to give us a detailed, lively and thorough overview of places we might want to visit, neighborhoods that were of interest, and bars and... More

This has been such a relaxing stay. We have been made so welcome and any question or query has been met with a genuine wish to offer excellent advice. Kelly in particular had so many useful tips and observations, which we really appreciated. The hotel is ideally situated for sightseeing, spotlessly clean and a haven at the end of a... More

Super friendly and helpful staff! We had a little trouble finding a parking spot at first, but the friendly lady at the front desk walked out to us and showed us the free parking they have directly in front of the hotel. When we needed to check out earlier than the normal breakfast time, another friendly lady prepared some breakfast... More

We spent three nights at the hotel and booked a small double room. The room is modern and very clean but I think all of the smaller rooms face one of the busiest roads in Rome. We booked a small room as knew we didn't need anything more than that but due to its size it got very hot and... More

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
