4 of us stayed at the Gialel from the 16-19th July 2014 and were pleasantly surprised at the service we received , from our arrival to departure ! We arrived at 1am and had a warm welcome from the host and his daughter who waited up at the entrance for us . We were given maps which helped us find... More

Gialel is more or less like other B&Bs / hotels I have been to in Rome. Starting from the positives: nice location, very friendly and welcoming staff, room was fresh (despite the very hot weather those days), room was big for being in Rome, bed was huge and comfortable, we had en-suite toilet with window. Negatives: bathroom was tiny (our... More

The best host I have seen in my trip. SUPER NICE for the whole family! We got lost at night and we finally arrived at the hostel nearly 1:00am..So lucky we could be helped by guests of the B&B. We contacted with the host. He was so nice to help us at 1:00a.m.. The hosts’ family was really nice, although... More

Very friendly staff/hosts, even when they had limited English and we had even less Italian! Nice big room and small, but clean shared bathrooms. Breakfast was great! More than just the standard coffee and croissants - they also offered cereal, yoghurt and yummy fresh squeezed juice. Location is a little out of the way, but still close enough to walk... More

This review is a bit late as we stayed here last summer. Wonderful B&B, and staff/family were very accommodating, helpful, friendly and pleasant. Rooms were lovely, clean and airy. We had to use the washroom that was separate from our room, but it was private and clean as well. Breakfast was good, and the building was in a safe area... More

This hostel is run by a lovely family who are most welcoming. The rooms are spotless and adequate in size. Breakfast is cereal, toast, yoghurt ,coffee, tea, crackers and cake. Juice is unfortunately served in a plastic cup. The real disappointment is the showers. They are far too small even for a small person. In this day and age there is no excuse... More

Lovely family run B&B, who really make you feel welcome and go the extra mile. Very good value, excellent breakfast and clean rooms/bathrooms. It is in a really convenient and good location (about a 10min walk from Termini station), and while many attractions are within walking distance there are also buses almost outside the hotel and metro station nearby which... Very nice owners. One girl speaks English and the others really try. Very welcoming. Breakfast is a simple affair but with plenty to eat. The coffee is fantastic. The B & B is within 20 minutes walk of many sites. It is near thd Borghese Gardens and museum. We shared a bath and no problem. The whole pace is clean,... More
