The management, with the exception of Aloisa, spoke no English, but they were some of the most gracious and pleasant people I've ever met. They made our stay at Gialel very special and their hospitality transcended the language barrier.

The best cappucino in Rome, friendly staff and quite good location! ALSO - One of the cleanest places I have ever been in and this is no joke. But - you can hardly catch wifi signal (a bit better signal only in bathroom). I was missing ham or sausage for breakfast. But overall - great experience in this hotel. Would... More

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Gialel B&B while backpacking in April 2015 for four nights and overall, it was a fantastic stay. The check-in process was hassle-free and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a bit of a walk to reach a lot of the more touristy spots, but it was through a lovely part... More

When we first arrived the daughter of the owners was very friendly and spent time circling on a map things to see and buses or metros to take and she also recommended some restaurants (we ate in one of these and it was great). We were taken to our room by the gentleman owner and although he couldn't speak english... More

Stayed at the Gialel B&B for 4 nights in the middle of March 2015. We had one of the en suite rooms that was very spacious. This B&B is in a great location for seeing the great city of Rome with a number of bus services nearby directly into the city centre or a stroll into the centre on foot... More

This family run b&b in the centre of Rome is perfectly located close to restaurants, bars, and coffee shops and only a few minutes walk from the park. The room are clean and comfortable and the owners are friendly and welcoming and make you feel at home. I look forward to visiting again in May this year.

The guest house is positioned on several bus routes to got too the main city sights quickly. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They recommended a near by restaurant La Cantolina which was excellent. As other reviewers have stated breakfast was basic but a good start to the day. Essentially it was a great base as we spent most... More

If you are looking for a clean and tidy place to stay, this is the hostel you are looking for. I and my girlfriend stayed here for five days. The room is very big, comfortable, tidy and clean. The hosts are very kind also. I was robbed in the metro during travel, they allow me to make international call to... More

Gialel B&B has all you need for a great stay in Rome. What really sets it apart is the wonderful staff. Any information or help all you need to do is ask. Would certainly stay here if I visit Rome again

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
