A well run, no thrills B&B - great for somewhere to rest your head after a busy day exploring the city. A two minute walk from the nearest bus stop and a ten minute walk from the nearest metro station, you are never too far from the main tourist sites with the added benefit of being located in a nice... My husband and I booked a 3 night stay at this hotel for our honeymoon. We had a difficult time finding the hotel (which was mostly our fault but the hotel is on an obscure street). After wandering Rome for way to long, we found our oasis and were greeted by the friendliest owners I've ever encountered. After listening to... More

We are two university students and we were quite impressed with the service given how CHEAP it is, which is something the most recent reviewer doesn't seem to realise. Our bed was more comfortable than a more expensive location we have stayed in, and it was very clean. Our room did have a weird smell but who cares? You get... More

First impressions of the room were dismal, unpleasant smell that was there the whole time. Shower room was tiny and toilet had tiniest washbasin ever and the mirror was so high I could only see in it if I stood on tiptoe! The lighting was poor ,view from window was of air conditiong ducts. The double bed was really two... More

there are not enough good things to say about this B&B. Everyone in the family was very nice and they were so easy to talk to and eager to help. The breakfast in the morning is simple but it was very nice. Definitely get the cappuccino...so good! One warning though and this is NOT their fauly...do not sleep with your... More

Stay was OK. Breakfast was nothing to talk about, mainly prepackaged bland biscuits with choice of 2 generic cereals. Hallways smelled funky, showers were tiny. Door locks were ancient and did not inspire confidence; no safes in the room either. First night, they turned off the power to all the outlets and internet at around midnight...not cool! Would recommend looking... More

While it was cheap, the hallways constantly smelled like sewage; probably because there isn't ventilation in bathrooms or hallways... Showers are absolutely tiny. If you weigh more than 200lbs you probably won't even be able to close the shower door...Promises of a hearty Italian breakfast is a straight Lie... The only choices are cereal, stale bread and gross prepackaged bulk... More

Hello, Our B&B is well know for the great hospitality of it's owners, the overall cleanliness of the property and the excellent value for money. It's nor smelly nor sketchy. Great care is given to everyday maintenance, with daily clening of all rooms and hallways, which are properly ventilated and do not smell like sewage. Showers are of the appropriate... More

Stayed here for 4 nights with my boyfriend for our joint birthday. Booked double room with private bathroom which was really spacious and clean. Location was perfect for exploring the city both by foot and public transport (if your feet are hurting!). Spanish Steps in 10 mins and there's a bus stop just round the corner with frequent buses into... More

This B & B is run by a wonderful Italian family. The dad makes the morning beverages, mom and sisters make the reservations, help with any visitors questions/sightseeing, and do the cleaning after breakfast. Stayed here when I first landed in Rome, and came back for the last 2 days of my trip before flying home. (didn't have a reservation... More

Well this B&B first of all is almost a hotel, being that they have about 8-10 rooms. A couple have their own bathroom, but even if you get a shared, it's two rooms to one bathroom, not bad. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Republica Metro. But the location is in a money area, pretty close to the... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
