Hotel staff was very nice. Room was clean and as we expected it to be. The location was great for us. I dont have anything bad to say about the hotel. We were a bit skeptical about the hotel because it was one of the cheapest but this hotel truly had a great value.

We booked on Last Minute, got a great deal. The location is perfect for walking around Rome to most of the attractions. We only took the tube to the Vatican, walked everywhere else. The hotel is a family business pensione, absolutely lovely, friendly family. Breakfast is different, but the warmth and smiles compensate for it. And after all, there are... More

I recently visited Rome between the 24th of June to the 29th of June with friends and stayed at this B&B. it was a very friendly place to stay with a shop and restaurant only two doors down, a road of restaurants only a 10 minute walk away where you can also catch the hop on hop off bus and... We had a party of three, my wife and here mother. We had an a very comfortable triple room, breakfast included with a shared bathroom. The bathroom I believe was shared with one other room, so that was not an issue at all. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the daughter. What would Italy do without their daughters?... More

This was our first trip to Rome with our daughter and son-in-law. We wanted something traditional and with easy access into the city for a base. This friendly B & B is family run, their daughter speaks good English and will help with any questions or the arrangement of transport for the airport. We recommend the taxi which is 50... More

The first thing I found very strange after staying at this B&B was that nobody mentions that the bathrooms are SHARED. There are 2 bathrooms between 4 rooms, which wasn't a problem as they were kept very clean and hot water was always available, but I think this is quite an important detail. We stayed in room 2 which was... More

I visited Rome with my parents - We had a FANTASTIC time! Gialel B&B is everything you need for an easy and relaxed stay. The room was very spacious, clean and inviting. The breakfast was basic but tasty cereals/toast/juice (again, all you need!) The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful - the young girl on check-in gave us a... More

Very good service, and a nice stay! The B&B is on walking distance from the city center, public transport and Termini station. Good clean room and a good Italian breakfast. Absolutely a recommendation!

The management, with the exception of Aloisa, spoke no English, but they were some of the most gracious and pleasant people I've ever met. They made our stay at Gialel very special and their hospitality transcended the language barrier.

The best cappucino in Rome, friendly staff and quite good location! ALSO - One of the cleanest places I have ever been in and this is no joke. But - you can hardly catch wifi signal (a bit better signal only in bathroom). I was missing ham or sausage for breakfast. But overall - great experience in this hotel. Would... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
