We stayed 4 days in House Monti. We get an apartment 10 minutes walk from main building, so it was a bit disappointment at the beggining (it was closer to Termini than Monti square), but it occured not such a big problem. The apartment was ok, with wi-fi, kitchen and bathroom facilities, however shower place needs some renewal. Overall we... More

Very clean and warm but the best thing about this hotel is the location. It is close to many important landmarks of Rome and in the area there are some very nice restaurants. Underneath the. Hotel there is a bar which is great for breakfast. A minus was that the towels were not changed every day. We only saw the... More

we stayed in this hotel on november 2013, the place was great, very clean and close to the colosseum and the metro. Attention was great and there were various restaurants nearby we will definitely go back again.

We were placed in an apartment separate from the hotel (#49 Cimarra) with our 15-month old daughter. The first night we were there, around 9:30 PM, we noticed that there was a sewage leak in the bathroom. We called the "Emergency number" listed in the room as there is no front desk after 6 PM. No one at the number... More

I do travel and I mind the money I spend. In the sense that i get furious if the money I pay does not reflect the quality of what I get. So, not a budget traveller here... I have given a try to Huse Monti 1875 and I was very happy of the choice! It is not an apartment hotel,... More

Small first floor unit of comfortable rooms only 200m from the Colosseum and The Forum, House Monti is well placed. Various other sites worth seeing are within walking distance and the nearest metro station is less than 200m away. Lots of small cafes and restaurants nearby

Great service from hotel staff. Very quick responses to questions per e-mail. Very spacious family room with double bed and extra bed for child (in main building) with still enough space for our luggage. Location in city center is great with many bars and restaurants to have breakfast and dinner. We would definately recommend and return to House Monti.

Unfortunately this hotel was not all it promised. We stayed in the annex room and as others have said it was cold, very very loud and not a nice place to spend any real length of time relaxing. Maybe the main rooms are nicer but if I was the hotel monti wouldn't be advertising these sub standard annex rooms or... More

We had a great stay for 2 nights in this hotel!!! The hotel staff, Vanessa was really friendly and helpful! The room was clean and cozy, also we really liked that it had a small kitchen and all the staff for having food there!! the location was good as well, near the Colloseum. The window of our room was on... More

We recently chose to stay in the House Monti after reading the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. We arrived at Midnight and were shown to our room which was a 5 minute walk from the main building (I can only presume that the photo's on here are from the main buildings rooms as ours was nothing like the standard that...
