A room in an ex-apartment on the 5th floor, with a little balcony. Air conditioning that works. Comfortable beds, and everything very clean. Extremely quiet. Best of all, you are in San Lorenzo, which is worth a few days of wandering, even though it is tiny. Perfect location if you are doing something at the university. Don't expect breakfast (even... In a month i stayed twice at this room rental, and i liked it very much. The owner is helpful and kind, the rooms are big and clean, with a/c, tv and ensuite bathroom. The location is very good:10' walking from Termini station, and near s lorenzo zone, full of restaurants and pizzerie. The breakfast is made of biscuits, hot... More

Assunta Really knows how to make you feel at home and the Pickup Taxi Service from Rome Airport was 5 Star Chauffeur Driven Service in a Mercedes cheaper than the cost of standard Airport Taxis. Thank You Assunta

Bed and breakfast in student area. Nice rooms- large and comfortable. Breakfast was help yourself to tea/coffe with pre-packaged pastries. These not so great. Advertised a terrace for breakfast, but the views are not that great.

My husband and I loved our small stay in Stelle and are happy we chose this place. We stayed in October for 2 days - the hotel is small but cozy and very nice, everything is brand new and clean, the room was big. Most of all we loved the welcoming atmosphere and very positive and emotional attitude from the... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
