We arrived at the Tucci House B&B Friday and stayed 3 nights with my mother. I have to say it was the most wonderful little place I have ever been to. The cleanliness, layout, neighbourhood and owner were the best combination. It is also really close to the metro, 5min walk to Manzoni station and 2 stops to Termini station.... More

Great place in center Roma, near Coliseum. Easy booking, and friendly staff with Veronica. Breakfast is good. Rooms are well clean and luminous. Wifi available near the lobby. Métro is just 5 minutes walk away. 3 or 4 restaurants are just nearby.

We stayed for 3 nights at Tucci's house during our Rome visit. We a had very comfortable stay and found it to be excellent value. Our room was spacious and comfortable. En-suite bathroom had all the facilities. Breakfast was cakes and pre-cooked continental stuff. I guess sweet and pre-cooked is the norm in Italy. Veronica is very helpful and considerate.... More

My husband and I stayed for three nights while in Rome and we're very satisfied. It is in a residential part of town so it is quite and safe. Close to metro which will take you anywhere in the city (we used to go to the Vatican). Very, VERY clean and comfortable. Only 10 min walk to the Coloseum and... More

We stayed here for 4 nights with our 2.5 year old son. Veronica was very helpful and did everything to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was at a nearby coffee shop..where you could buy a nice sandwich as well..incase the Italian breakfast provided by the b& b was not enough for you. Drinking water is to be fetched from the... More

Our second visit in this place was a pleasure again! Very good location near metro station Manzoni, and many buses and a tram are also available nearby. The area is peaceful and silent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hostess, Veronica, is a very pleasant person who helps in every situation. We can recommend this place to everyone and... More

Tucci's is an excellent place to dine on seafood, steak, pasta, etc. Their food is outstanding, and the wine list is extensive. We had a wide range of delicious appetizers and entrees which was shared amongst friends. Needless to say, this place seems to be a staple for locals who appreciate great food. Check it out if you are in... More

Very nice and clean b&b near the city center. Lot of pluses: 24h chack-in without extra charge, included city tax, quite part of city, walking distance to Colloseum, two metro stations from Termini, daily maide, very pleasent owners. Not really minus, but could be better wireleess internet is not straight enough in all rooms. But you can use it in... More

I would highly recommend. We stayed 6 nights here as a couple and everything was great. Situation: very close to metro station (Manzoni - Line A), 10 min by foot from Colosseum. A really silent area. Nearby there is a supermarket where u can buy things you may need. Place: Veronica, the owner, is a really polite and helpful person.... More

Tucci's house in Rome is a great place to stay - very clean rooms and quite and in a safe location. Very conveniently located and easy to get to any station. A 20 minute walk will take you to the main train station (Termini). Owner is also very nice and helpful. A very restful place with great value. Would stay... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
