We liked H@R a lot. It is situated north of the Vatican within walking distance and on two major bus routes which will get you almost anywhere. Like a lot of Italian b & b's, it is an apartment conversion, in this case artfully executed by the owners Federico and Fabio. It is spotlessly clean. The original apartment has been... More

My experience with Fabio and Home @ Rome began a couple of days before I arrived with a confirmation text and phone call to ensure someone was there to greet me. When I actually arrived I was exhausted from an early flight from London and immediately sighed relief when walking in that huge front door, I expected less and was... More

Kindness beyond what is usually expected, clean room, nice decoration, near Basilica St Peter. Direct access from Railstation Termini with Bus 70 which stops in front of this small but well cared after hotel. As Rome was full for Pope Francesco I was only able to stay one night at B&B home. However Fabbio (the landlord of the BB) did... More

Close place to Vatican city but far enough from crowds, in an area well served by public transports (metro and bus), restaurant and pubs. The staff has been very kind since the beginning, contacting us as we booked our stay. Once we arrived they also gave us a lot of tips and suggestions to enjoy Rome at its best. Daily... More

The rooms are lovely, the bed is very comfortable and the staff couldn't be more friendly or accommodating. IUi highly recommend staying here for easy access to town and a lovely experience all round.

Tiny, clean, quiet and friendly B&B! Breakfast at the opposite of the street and very good. Cheap and fresh Tramezzini to take away :-) 10 min walk to vatican city and good acces to metro or bus station. Fabio (the owner) is very helpful and friendly. We were a group of 6 and we all can recommend B&B Home@Rome to... More

Excellent location, a rennovated B&B, with a quality of a 4-star hotel rather than a usual B&B. Very clean, spacious room and bathroom. Nice quiet sleep although in the city center. Easy access to metro and bus. I strongly reccommend it to everyone travelling to Rome!!

B&B was very nice and clean. Staff spoke English! They gave good suggestions on food and transportation. Location is a bit further away from all of the sites, but great value for the price! The neighborhood gives you a bit more of the Roman experience vs being in a totally touristy area!

We had 1 last night in Rome and decided to stay at Home at Rome because another B&B was booked and this one was referred. Clean place with good service and good price. Not as nice as the hotels we had been staying at for 2 weeks, but this is a great location if you are staying a week or... More

After arriving from JFK at 7am, our hosts at B&B Home@Rome had our rooms ready so we could relax before an afternoon and evening of site seeing. They went above and beyond to help us, including make dinner and lunch reservations and arranging ground transportation. We would stay again.
