Excellent staff, very helpful and welcoming. She provides a lovely breakfast for all guests. Good location with easy access to metro although no longer than an hour walk to any city site - only 5 mins to Spanish Steps and 10mins to Trevi Fountain. The rooms are very basic but if all you want is some where to lie your... More

This B&B is on the fith floor of an ancient building. The doors, the wooden floor and part of the furniture are original from 18th century, giving the environment charme and authenticity. The position is strategic, since Via Veneto is right next door. So you can enjoy that glamorous street for a cheap price! In principle, you are asked to... More

A perfect stay in Rome. Martina and her mother are extremely friendly and we really felt at home in this beautiful house. The rooms are nice, bright, comfortable and well-furnished. The bathroom is very clean with good water pressure & hot water. Breakfast is perfect . The location is extremely convenient as it is close to the bus, metro station,... More

Although the apartment was conveniently located, our experience was absolutely awful. Here are the reasons: 1) two beds were requested and we only had one queen bed. Used the sofa bed which has a mattress probably similar to a prison bed. There was no blanket. 2) Construction work at 8am just below on a week-end 3) Ridiculous check out time:... More

This cute little place is in a superb location of Rome, right of off an upscale Via Venetto with lots of restaurants, cafés and shops. It's a couple of minutes to walk to the Metro. Service was very good! Martina and her mom were very helpful. Breakfast felt like home. Martina was also very helpful in obtaining car services or... More

Martina house was surprisingly good for a self-run guest house. Martina herself was extremely hospitable and caring. The location is perfect and lots of parkings nearby. Great breakfast, real value for money. Of course the elevator is quite ancient but it was an authentic experience - felt like we really stayed in Old Rome.

This guest house was a great place to stay. We stayed for four nights in the beautiful historic rooms, which were very clean. Breakfasts were good, plenty to eat and Martina herself was lovely. I would definitely recommend this for those who don't conform to the norm and stay in large impersonal hotels.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
