We were flying to Italy on a budget, and wanted to stay at a hotel which was situated close the center yet within our means, without having to result to hostels, as this was our honeymoon. The Independent came highly recommended on TripAdvisor, was very well situated, and was a very affordable option. Having reserved and paid for our room... More

We booked this hotel based on comments/reviews on Trip Advisor and were very happy with our decision. The location is fantastic and is only a few minutes walk from central train station and walking distance to so many of the special sights in Rome. The room was very spacious and clean. All facilities/amenities were very nice. Very comfortable king size... More

stayed here after it recently opened it's doors. the room had a separate living room area. good size for 2 people. simple, neat and clean room. breakfast on the top floor was simple, serving a continental breakfast of pastries, fruit and yoghurt. however the balcony seating options were very nice and refreshing during the early morning. location is great, down... Walking distance from Termini train station with many restaurants nearby. Typical old building which has been renovated. Clean, modern, good size room for a Rome hotel, nice comfortable bed and soft pillows, Wifi throughout the entire hotel, delicious breakfast, small elevator :-). Will definitely stay here again next time.

Only about 5 minutes walk from Termini Train Station where you can get the train to the Airport (13.00 Euros). Small reception area, very small elevator, but modern and comfortable rooms. Between the 4 of us we rented 3 rooms for 3 nights. Good size room, comfortable bed with soft sheets, blankets, and fluffy pillows. One of our room had... More

Stayed here on recent trip to Rome as the hotel a friend had recommended was full. Great find! Our room was really clean, and good size but most impressed with the great breakfast and lovely roof terrace, very helpful English speaking staff ( particularly Alexandro on reception and the barman ( sorry didn't catch name) who were chatty and happy... Excellent location 5 minute walk from the Termini/bus station yet far enough away not to be distracted by any noise. Hotel reception area is small with no observable facilities, but staff were welcoming and friendly and offered a free upgrade on our room. Room itself was modern and clean and the large comfortable bed was a blessing after a hard... More

The compromise on this hotel is that you are not in downtown Rome. In all other respects, it's pretty much perfect. The hotel is located just along from the main station (Roma Termini) - an area with all the amenities you need, including a very nice cafe on the corner of the block - so it's about a 15 minute... Excellently positioned hotel. Less than 5 minutes from the main station and easy to find. All staff very nice and welcoming. Reception staff very helpful. Very good English ( thank goodness!) Stunning 360 degree views from the rooftop restaurant/bar. Lovely to watch the sun go down. Can't be many better vantage points in any hotel in Rome ( literally) as... More
