If i ever go back to Rome this is where i would stay. Very close to the train and bus terminal. Absolutely loads of restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. The rooms are clean, smart and tidy. The shower is nice and powerful and the whole bathroom is well appointed. The beds are firm but comfortable. But i think the... More

Rome is filled with rude people but this hotel is a exception. They allowed us to both check in early and check out late with no extra fee. The reception staff where a joy, as where the breakfast staff where the lady every day remembered your preferred hot drink. The food at breakfast was good, hot food choice of toast,... More

We stayed one night in this beautiful hotel because its location was very convenient for us, as we were attending a wedding close by, but we now will consider for our next family vacations. I personally believe that what makes the stars of a hotel is not the building, even though Demetra Art is a very very class hotel, but... More

I just read the post by Eva J and I am at least happy to hear that it was not only me! I was told that my room had water problems. I was very upset because this was my first trip to Rome and took the other hotel. Although not a bad hotel, I would have preferred the location that... More

Based on the reviews and pictures, I booked this hotel expecting a lot. I was first disappointed because the hotel was really difficult to find. This hotel is on the second floor and shares space with another hotel. Signage not clear so I ended up walking up and down the street 2 times to find it. My second disappointment was... More

If you are booking hotel via Hotels.com or Expedia.com, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. This hotel claims that there are issues with your room if you book via 'Expedia.com'. I kept informing them that I booked through Hotels.com, but they were insisting that it is the same as Expedia.com. They said they had reserved a room for me at their... More

After reading the fantastic reviews on-line for this hotel, I reserved 4 nights to stay here (from July 12 to 16). Upon arrival, the receptionist said there was a problem with our room (due to plumbing or water issues) and she would have to move us to another 4 star hotel that was 5 minutes away. Because I did my... More

We stayed in the demetra hotel for 8 nights. Coming from Termini station, it can be a bit difficult to find. But go in the direction of the opera theater an you will find it. The entrance doors are open 24/7. The staff was very friendly and everbody speaks english excellently. At check-in (or check-out) you must pay a city-tax... More

This hotel is new. It is in an old building but the facilities are sparkling and fresh and comfortable. It is a ten minute walk from Termini Station and about a twenty minute walk from the major sites of Rome (Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps). The neighborhood can be a bit seedy but we never once felt that it was... More

Not a pleasant frontage upon arrival and shares a building with other hotels. Just round the corner from Termini so good for transport Metro Tour Buses. 4 fairly good but pricey cafe/ restaurants immediately outside . Not the best food ever eaten but edible and saves walking after a long day of sightseeing. They were always very busy tho and... More
