We have just got back from our stay at the relais badoer. The hotel was very clean and the host was very helpful and friendly. The location was very central, we didn't need to use public transport for anything as it was all within walking distance. The hot tub on the roof terrace was very nice after a day of... More

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Relais Badoer in Rome. Upon first impression, we were slightly sceptical as the only sign outside was a small one above a flat buzzer however once upstairs to the top floor we found the small but beautiful hotel. Our room was small but very clean and perfect for what we wanted.... More

I stayed at this little hotel with my sister and it was an unforgettable stay from taking the lift up to the last floor to get in in our room. Small but has all the necessary you needed. We definitely enjoyed the jacuzzi on the rooftop after a long tired day and feel so relaxed. I will highly recommend this... More

We absolutely loved our stay at the relais badoer. The location was incredible and all the major sites were within a 5 minute walk. The staff couldn't do enough for you and the views from the hot tub and roof terrace were incredible. We enjoyed our stay so much we have just booked to go back!

Our family has just spent 5 days at Relais Badoer. It is for sure a nice place but there are just some things that are good to know beforehand. Relais Badoer is a very small hotel, there are 6 double rooms and a suite (which we had). From the street you cannot see that this building has a hotel, no... More

We stayed here for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this boutique and very unique hotel. The hotel occupies the top seventh floor and rooftop of this building that is perfectly located in the heart of Rome. All major attractions, restaurants and shopping are only a short walk away. Should you need to venture further afield the hop... More

Although the shower was leaking and the room next door was noisy (woke us up when they came home at 3 AM) the rest of this intimate B&B is excellent. The jacuzzi's on the rooftop terrace allow you to relax after your strolls through Rome. Staff is VERY nice and helpful. Everything is in walking distance. An tip for the... More

The location is perfect. We stayed for 3 nights in Relais Badoer and almost everything in Rome is on walking distance. The room was clean and nice and we got new towels daily. The jacuzzi on the rooftop was really nice to relax after a long day strolling through Rome. Breakfast is served between 7-12 so you don't have to... More

My family, 5 adults (2 couples, one single) spent 3 nights here July 11-14. What a great place! We had the suite on the top floor which has a large entry (where we left our suitcases) with a clothes rack and dresser. The bathroom is also off the entry hall, which is nice for a little privacy. A long hallway... More

Staying in Ghetto

Neighborhood Profile
Ghetto
The mini-neigborhood Ghetto holds tight to its reputation as a stand-alone area thanks to its nearly 300-year history as the home to Rome’s Jewish community. Times changed in the 20th century, but the tiny area still retains its mix of tradition, community, and history. Ancient and medieval architectural design frames apartments, bakeries, shops, and restaurants. Friends and families are the pulse of the neighborhood, keeping company on the Via del Portico d’Ottavia. The Ghetto observes the traditional Jewish Shabbat: businesses close from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.
