My family, 5 adults (2 couples, one single) spent 3 nights here July 11-14. What a great place! We had the suite on the top floor which has a large entry (where we left our suitcases) with a clothes rack and dresser. The bathroom is also off the entry hall, which is nice for a little privacy. A long hallway... More

We had a lovely stay at Relais Badoer, friendly service, nice room, aircondition, and even a small balcony. Best of all: Roof top terrace, amazing views and jacuzzi. A small continental breakfast was included. We were disturbed by people arriving late. This is like a big apartment that has been made to several rooms so the walls may be thin.... More

We had a brilliant 4 days staying here. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The rooftop jacuzzi's were a god-send in the heat with the best views over the city. So Central you can walk to all the famous sites, the rooms were lovely with balconies and funky showers, a little fridge which had free water plus some... More

I did a lot of research to find somewhere in Rome that we would enjoy and won the jackpot. They arranged a car to meet us at the airport which was fantastic as it is really only a door downstairs of a building. It is very central to everything, short walk to Pantheon and Piazza Navona. The room is modern... More

First of all thank you to Jolwin who sorted us out from start to finish. Made himself personally accountable for the taxi coming late to the airport and arranging with the company for us to pay €70 instead of €100 for the round trip. Beautiful, light and airy rooms, amazing views and spectacular location. Close to EVERYTHING in Rome. Taxi... More

The Relais Badoer was perfect for our stay in Rome, it surpassed all our expectations. We visited for my birthday and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. When we arrived we were shown all the features of the room, including the Jacuzzi shower, then taken to the rooftop which offered a stunning... More

Spent a short romantic break with girlfriend, the hotel is fantastic with its location in the city, it is within walking distance to nearly every major attraction. The room we stayed in was modern and clean and the staff couldn't do enough to help and make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Would love to go back! Note - If... More

Staying in Ghetto

Neighborhood Profile
Ghetto
The mini-neigborhood Ghetto holds tight to its reputation as a stand-alone area thanks to its nearly 300-year history as the home to Rome’s Jewish community. Times changed in the 20th century, but the tiny area still retains its mix of tradition, community, and history. Ancient and medieval architectural design frames apartments, bakeries, shops, and restaurants. Friends and families are the pulse of the neighborhood, keeping company on the Via del Portico d’Ottavia. The Ghetto observes the traditional Jewish Shabbat: businesses close from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.
