The Relais Badoer was a fantastic little find. For our first visit to Rome this hotel is in such a great location for all the sights. The hotel staff were amazing, so friendly & helpful. The rooftop hottub is lovely, both times we used it we had it to ourselves. Breakfast on the roof terrace was brilliant. Set us up... More

I love this place, I have stayed here twice, the staff goes out of there way to make your stay perfect, it is centrally located to all the attractions, rooms are spotless with a view of the city from the balconies. They have Jacuzzis on the roof and breakfast is also served on the roof that overlooks the Roman ruins

Had a fabulous 3 nights here in April 2015. Great service, great location and great room. The balcony rooms are delightful for people watching overlooking the city skyline and ancient ruins and catching late afternoon sun with a glass of wine. The rooftop spa and breakfast area is great addition and the breakfast and coffee is really really good. The... More

There were two really special things about the Relais. First, was the view from our room, number 1, of a block of Roman ruins across the street - where Caesar was assassinated and secondly, is the rooftop terrace where you can chill out during the day or night. The terrace has two jacuzzis which are great after a day of... More

We stayed here toward the end of Feb, The hotel and its staff are superb. Dario the Concierge was a life saver for us as our luggage was delayed and he sorted everything! He is a real credit the hotel and his customer service is second to none. We stayed in the suite on the top floor of the hotel,... More

My husband and I selected Relais Badoer based on TripAdvisor reviews and because of the great location in Rome. We had only 1 day in Rome so we needed to be in a central location that we could easily get to all of the attractions we wanted to in 1 day. Being it was our first time in Rome, we... More

Starting from the impeccable accomodation, the elegant and clean rooms, the exciting shower in the room, the jacuzzi... More

Realsi Badoer is a must for anyone staying in Rome for a long weekend; from the view on the rooftop terrace whilst eating your breakfast (or drinking your wine) to the central location (10minutes walk to Colosseum/5minutes walk to Pantheon) it is a fantastic. The staff went out of their way to make our stay something to remember, I would... More

Stayed as part of a large group over for the 6 nations, guys and girls, none of whom could find a fault with Relais Badoer. From the modern and immaculate rooms, the ever-attentive service from the whole team, the central location and of course the rooftop terrace. Perfect for any type of trip to Rome, we will be back! Thanks

Staying in Ghetto

Neighborhood Profile
The mini-neigborhood Ghetto holds tight to its reputation as a stand-alone area thanks to its nearly 300-year history as the home to Rome’s Jewish community. Times changed in the 20th century, but the tiny area still retains its mix of tradition, community, and history. Ancient and medieval architectural design frames apartments, bakeries, shops, and restaurants. Friends and families are the pulse of the neighborhood, keeping company on the Via del Portico d’Ottavia. The Ghetto observes the traditional Jewish Shabbat: businesses close from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.
