5-10 mins walk from the Colosseum. Great B&B in an old historic building which has been restored and modernised. Amazing high ceilings and old style décor. Great host “Claudio” – with breakfast specialities such as chocolate muffins and apple strudel.

Having just returned from a 3 night stay. What can I say this place is perfect in that the location to all tourist attractions are within walking distance, the coliseum is literally around the corner. The Termini is just a 5 minute walk. Claudio as a host was great, he baked us a fresh apple roulade as part of breakfast... More

The very gracious proprietor Claudio makes it. A bit quirky 3rd floor walkup in the heart of Rome. We picked this because of the suite of two rooms and traveled with two of our kids. The bathroom is very clean. Claudio was very helpful with recommendations, reservations and ordering an early morning cab to take us to the airport. Easy... More

First of all, the hospitality is excellent. We took a long drive from Venice to Rome and we reach the place rather late without first informing the owner. However, Claudio was absolutely kind and accommodating and even recommend us to a parking garage nearby to park our vehicle. The very next day we set off to the colosseum and we... More

We had a great time staying here. The location was excellent. We had a private fridge and wifi. The bathroom was external but private. The only issue was that the room was not ready until about 5 pm on the day of arrival.

Claudio was a perfect host! Even helping us with our many heavy suitcases! We had the Queen with a large closet, safe, mini fridge, lovely room and very clean. The bathroom was also immaculate and well taken care of. The accommodations were wonderful, breakfast was lovely and coffee was excellent. Location, location, location! Cannot be better. Close to Metro, train... More

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at Resort Cavour and loved everything about it. Claudio is very welcoming and makes you feel right at home. We had a double room with a huge closet, mini-fridge, very nice bathroom & shower and such high ceilings! The location really can't be beat - within walking distance of the colosseum and the... This was definitely our favorite places we stayed at in Italy. Claudio was an excellent host, suggested some great restaurants to us, and made a delicious breakfast! The rooms were neat and clean and very close to the colosseum and the main train station. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you so much for your kindness and courtesy. I really appreciate when my efforts to make feel my guests as at their own home is recognized: this is, for me, the meaning of hosting in a B&B. hope to have you again at my home as my welcome guests. More

My husband and I spent 3 nights here at the beginning of may and couldn't have asked for a nicer place. The b&b is located just a short walk to the coliseum and many other attractions and also about a 10 minute walk to the train station. The room we had was technically a triple so we had 2 bedrooms... Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
