Yes...the room was decent and clean and very small...the problem was there wasn't anyone who spoke English to get info ....was very frustrating and the breakfast was pitiful with coffee so strong it was undrinkable and it was scalding hot where you couldn't pick up the serving cup...all for twelve euros...ridiculous price for such lousy continental breakfast. If you are... More

La Casa di Piero is located at the top floor of a nice building at the Vatican area, but it is disappointing in many ways. 1) I booked the CP after reading (Expedia) that Free Parking is provided. However there are no free parking except on the streets nearby hotel. My car's painting had been damaged and needs painting as... More

Stayed at this B&B for 3 nights/4days. Was booked at last minute as the original hotel I booked was overbooked. The B&B wasn't easy to find but it was my fault as I did not print a map of the location. Ottaviano metro station is very close and if you leave via the Piero/Ottaviano exit then it would be easier.... More

A great location to explore the on your doorstep Vatican City and Rome. A clean and spacious room situated right next to the Vatican Ciy, above a busy street of shops in an appartment and residential building. The Vatican is literally on your doorstep and the local metro to other attractions is 100 yards from the door. The owners welcomed... More

Piero and his son are outstanding people. I got a 5 stars service in this bed and breakfast. The place is clean, new and faces on Via Ottaviano - no noise. Less new and a little dark the option in Borgo Pio but great location. The breakfast is a bit poor but Piero is open to add what you like,... More

La Casa di Piero was the 1st place we stayed when we got to Italy. When we got there, Piero welcomed us at the entrance door to show us the way up to our room. Even with the language barrier, he was patient enough to explain us everything. PROS: The 2 most important things I look for when traveling is... More

The location is really close to Vaticano. Inside it has each comfort you need. The head is really gently. I'll come back! You can rent a bike, and it's free. I suggest to book a bike before you arrive. The location is really in the center of Rome, and, by night, you can go to trastevere, Campo dei Fiori, Testaccio,... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
