We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Consulta. It was reasonably priced and good value for money. It is an excellent base for site seeing in the center of Rome. We were within walking distance to almost all of the major tourist attractions. To get there you can catch the Leonardo Express Train from the airport to the Termini station which... More

Hotel Consulta has Just 12 rooms on the first floor of a building (there is a lift) at the Center of Rome. Location is just perfect. You will be at walking distance of most tourist attractions The rooms are not large but have everything you need for a pleasant stay: Flat screen TV, AC, an empty fridge that you can... More

My wife and I spent 4 nights at Hotel Consulta during our first stay in Rome and it was excellent. We used their pickup service from Fiumicino Airport, our driver was waiting for us when we arrived, was very friendly and it was much quicker than taking a bus. The receptionists were all very nice and helpful, they gave us... More

You cannot ask for a better location! It was at the centre of everything, the landmarks, restaurants, railway station. The cleanliness was top notch. The beds were good enough but nothing great. The one thing missing was breakfast. They don't offer any since it's a small hotel on the first floor of the building with barely a reception. And yes,... More

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. First of all we had a very very difficult time finding the place, it is not marked at all on the outside of the building so make sure you ask for detailed instructions on how to get there. The hotel itself is very small but the rooms are clean, we had a... More

The location is wonderful, you can walk to many places Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Colosseum Fontana di Trevi, and there are buses running thru Via Nazionale to go to Vatican or Trastevere. The staff was helpful if you ask for advice about good places to eat or transport. The major disadvantage was that we got a room on the backside away... More

The hotel room itself is quite nice. It was clean, decent amount of space for the 3 of us in a triple room, the bathroom was clean and the shower nice. Please note that this is a 1 star hotel so you will not receive certain amenities that a 3 or 4 star hotel might provide. For example, no shampoo... More

We stayed for 4 nights in April 2014 in the Easter week and have only great things to say about the hotel. When you enter it, you get a B&B kind of feel- very personal, very quiet and unlike a "regular" hotel. The room was everything we wanted from a hotel room in Rome- spacious, spotlessly clean and a very... More

We stayed here for 4 days and I can't say a bad thing about the hotel. Within walking distance of almost everything worth seeing in Rome and a great service. Rooms are better than most average hotels, they are clean, the beds are comfortable and the receptionists are all really nice. Outer rooms are a bit noisy due to the... More

Booked this based on reviews from tripadvisor. No doubt great value and location. Hotel on first floor of buliding. I would probably describe facility as 'rooms' rather than 'hotel', but excellent nonetheless. Our room was very quiet, spotlessly clean and no noise from traffic at all. Outlook was over an inner area which was for generators etc, but it didn't matter.... More
