I stayed here at the beginning of my trip, because it was cheap. There was a reason for its price, though. This is the apartment of the owner. He just rents out his other two rooms, Look through the photos of other guests. There are signs everywhere from the owner telling not to touch anything. The hours you can shower... More

inside the B & B there are times, as not all at night they go to sleep late, customers can make unlimited coffee all day ends at 20 pm because the coffee machine makes a noise and the environment is small and you hear the noise for sleepers can be annoying to hear the coffee machine at 11 pm another... We drove to Sorrento (Italy)and back and found B&B hotels the best value for money at 48 Euro's per room 52 at the weekend, very clean and modern, breakfast comes at extra cost ,very basic nothing special, but highley recommend the group if all you want is a bed for the night.

This place is great for many reasons: near the terminy and the colisseum (just on foot), pleasant, quiet and clean place, coffee and crossant taken to bed by the host, clean bathroom, two towels included per person, great pressure of warm water....just amazing!!! The host is really friendly and gives us a key to enter any time. We chatted a... More

My boyfriend and I were inter-railing on a budget and this was exactly what we were looking for. Brilliantly priced with everything we needed. Clean and quaint. Ten minute walk to the Trevi Fountain and Termini Station. The gent who owns the place lives in one of the three bedrooms. He helped us get our bearings in the city and... More

Location is good, quite near Termini station and Colosseum. Also the room is big enough, bed was nice and sheets were clean. But there is NO WIFI in the hotel and NO possibility to use internet (no guest computers)! Hotel / apartment was also under renovation, so living room was messy. No kitchen, just few rooms for guests, peaceful. Bathroom... More

The location was near Piazza Dante, close to Termini Station. It was basically an apartment with 3 rooms. The room was simple - double bed, window, closet. The bathroom was nice and clean, but we had problem with the shower, it was very unstable. The wi-fi was also weak. Breakfast was croissant with coffee. If you are in Rome for... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
