If I think about this place my blood starts boiling. This place is worse than you can immage. The building looks like an homeless house. Our room was smelly, cramped, and infested. It is true this place hasn't any fire prevention system and can be very dangerous. The breakfast room was very hot with no ventilation and the food provived... more

We stayed at the regency recently and its definately no 4 stars more like 2 at best.We found the rooms looked nothing like the pictures I think those were taken at a diferent hotel. They were dark and gloomy and for the most part depressing. The so called breakfast in the bowels of the place was nothing more than buns and meat... more

This is the worst four star Hotel i have ever in. EVER. The hotel is very far from everything. The decor and furnishing are cheap and tired. Our room smelled terrible and it was very very noisy. The mattress seemed 20 Years old. The bathroom was very old and grubby. The air condition sounded like a B52 and did not... more

This place is run down, mouldy and dirty. The staff not friendly at all and necer smile. If you ask any information they always turn the ayes. The poor breakfast was served in someplace that we used to call the " catacombs" because it was situated in an underground hot canteen. The orange juice was 99% water and the service... more

I find it amazing how much the reviews differ. When I was there in Sept 2005, I found the hotel to be fine. The rooms were clean, if basic. The maid who looked after my room was great. The breakfast buffet was okay (fruit, yogurt, a variety of cereals and breads, cheese and sliced meats). The front desk staff were... more

We enjoyed our stay! See the pictures at Xoshare dot com. The staff was good to us and the rooms were clean. Realize that European hotel rooms are smaller then American! Good Breakfast each morning. more

Best Catholic Pilgrimages booked this hotel for our tour telling us it was a four star hotel. We stayed there four days most without air conditioning--fortunately there was a store accross the street selling fans. All this during a heat wave--it was over 100 degrees every day we were there. The room was about the size of a stateroom, dark... more

I stayed at the Regency between 24th May - 28th May and had read the reviews for the hotel prior to my trip. Upon reading the reviews I was dreading seeing the hotel as I thought not everyone could be wrong. We I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised. Granted, the hotel is not a 4 star hotel... more

Hard to believe this is a four star hotel. I suggest the owner to rate his hotel as three star and keep the two star tariff. This wil be more fair. The staff at the reception wants to show very much to be friendly in their poor English but often are very intrusive and don't respect the privacy. They given... more
