Have just returned from a 3-night stay at Forty Seven. The hotel is based on a ‘minimalist style’ and is modern by Roman standards, yet somehow there is ‘something’ about this hotel that just doesn’t click. We stayed in a standard room given the prices in Rome. The room was a great size, very clean and the bathroom was fantastic... More

We stayed at the Hotel Forty Seven for 3 nights in the beginning of October. Overall, we were happy with the hotel. The location is a little off the beaten path so be aware that most things are a good walk, but certainly doable. The rooms were spacious, very modern and clean. As for the staff, we had mixed results.... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. We were very happy with the location. It is close to all the sites of ancient Rome and a short walk across the bridge to the Trastevere area. We were delighted by the spacious rooms. We had a deluxe room on the 5th floor. The balcony had a view over the Temple of Vesta and... More

First time in ancient Rome. My husband and I wanted to visit all the historical sites we all have read about (the Forum, the Colosseum, Tojans Column, the Jewish Getto, the Vatican, the Capitolini Museum, Palatine Hill, Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Circus Maximus and many more. Choosing this hotel was the best thing we ever did. We did not... More

We stayed 7 nights at the Hotel Forty Seven. The room was very clean and very modern. The staff was very helpful and available whenever we needed them. The hotels location is excellent. We were very close to the Tiber River, Forum and Colosseum. We arrived on a Saturday and walked around the block seeing the Capitoline Museum, Forum and... More

We were lucky enough to stay at the 47 Hotel after our original hotel had a mixup with our booking. We are so thankful because it turned out to be the best hotel we ever stayed at. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful and even spent the morning searching for an additional hotel for the remainder of our stay.... More

We had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at the Forty Seven Sept 21-24th. It was a lovely hotel- a little boutique hotel in the heart of ancient Rome. We loved the location- could walk to anything and when you got tired of walking, various bus lines stopped right in front of the hotel. Travestere was a quick 5 minute... More

We loved this hotel! The location is great! We walked to the Vatican following the river..it was possible to walk everywhere to the major sights...all within a 30 minute walk. Very close to the Via de Corso which is a straight shot to the Spanish Steps & the Trevi Fountain. Many ancient sights are in the immediate area. The decor... More

The location, the friendly staff, the size of the rooms, the roof bar/restaurant make this an excellent choice in Rome!

Very nice hotel in a convenient location. Walked to all standard sites except Spanish Steps and Vatican. Contra to earlier review, I thought this was very close to Collosseum and Forum. if you go right out of the hotel, up the street to the top of the hill and turn right (via archaloga?) there is an excellent deli/wine shop -...
