If you are looking for a clean room with a comfy bed, in a perfect location, with easy access to taxis and buses, within walking distance of everything, at a price that is totally reasonable for any large city... Four Rivers Suites is the perfect choice. Domenico, the manager, is very helpful and accommodating. The included breakfast in a nearby... More

It was our very first trip to Rome and we settled on this budget-ish hotel because we were saving our luxury room for Amalfi. We were disappointed to never have seen or met domenico in our 5 days, after reading glowing reviews about him. The lady at reception was lovely, helpful in making recommendations. Rooms are small, true that bedding... More

Stayed in the hotel for 7 days. Very central in the most favourite area of rome. Round the corner was Piazza Navona, accross the street was Campo Di Fiori and Piazza Farnese. Down the road was the Vatican City.. only 15 minutes walking. You might think 15 minutes walking is long, but when you start getting orientated thats when you... More

My husband and I stay here for 6 days while we explored Rome on foot. We found the location to be perfect. Yes the rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable and every morning we'd wake up to a hot breakfast of eggs, meat, cheeses, fruit, breads and pastries to fortify our daily exploring.

We (a family of 5) stayed in the 2 bedroom 'apartment' in December before our cruise. It was located in the next street along from the main hotel, a couple of minutes walk away. We had to carry our suitcases up several fights of stairs to the apartment. Once inside, it was quite basic and small and dark, not much... More

Our requested room wasn't available, so we were given a massive room with an extra bed. Service was fantastic and location was excellent. I found the bed really hard and uncomfortable, whereas my friend thought it was great, so I think it depends what you like in this regard. I thought breakfast was really quite good (go for the chocolate... More

Despite some mishaps (our reserved deluxe room not available; room key broke in keyhole; credit card rejected for reasons unknown), we enjoyed our two night stay in the Four Rivers Suites. Domenico, the Manager, was very accommodating and helpful. Our street facing room was very clean but very plan - no TV, safe, or mini-refrigerator - and fairly quiet, thanks... More

Four rivers "suites" is basically a row of rooms down a hall in a large apartment building in Rome, with a least one (or more) apartments scattered in the nearby neighborhood. We booked the nearby apartment. Our apartment was outside around the corner and down an alley way, with a 6 flight walk-up to the "3rd" floor (in US, it's... More

We did not understand that this is a budget hotel. We are too old to rough it. Air-conditioning didn't work and it was very hot. Bedding and pillows were not clean. Walls were scuffed and dirty (I know because I cleaned them they unnerved me so). Power went out twice during our stay on two separate nights. My husband and... More

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
