With clean, spacious rooms in a stunning building - this is a great place to base yourself in Rome. Throw into the mix wonderful hosts who couldn't have been kinder and an excellent price and it's no wonder this place gets so many five star reviews. Thoroughly deserved!

Having never visited Rome we felt we were missing something. We expected a hectic time and with our budget to have to stay somewhere either inconvenient or a bit shabby. A Touch of Rome was neither. Incredible value and right by Vatican city. It is an apartment in an old converted Palazzo. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and... More

Livio and Filippo made us feel very welcome at this perfectly located B&B. They assisted us enthusiastically with our enquiries about Rome, transport, and our accommodation. The accommodation itself is unique, neat, and modern. We would like to stay here again.

First you should know that this facility and A View of Rome are operated by the same people. When I booked our lodging through booking.com, I thought I was staying at A View of Rome, which is located at the same address, but in a different section of the building. I'm not certain how that happened, but I strongly would... More

From the moment if booking via booking.com we received excellent customer service from the hotel. We were met in style at the airport and Lourdes was waiting in pavement to greet us. The hotel is in a lovely old building entered via huge wooden doors into a spacious hall and via a period lift. We were given room 1, plenty... More

When I first booked this online the staff were very helpful and sent me emails with directions to the b&b using public transport and even offered to arrange a taxi if I wished. They also sent me links to local tour guides/useful day passes etc. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner who was waiting for us (I... More

We were met on arrival at the front door by Daniellie, we received an extremely pleasent and warm welcome. He couldn't do enough for us from marking the points of interest on a map to advising us on places to eat for lunch and dinner that evening. We were given room number 1 which we were told was the largest... More

I can only echo what others have already stated: this is an ideal place to stay if you want to be close to public transportation and the major sites of Rome. Our room was spotless, the bed comfy, and the staff went out of their way to take care of us. We felt this was a great value for the... More

“A Touch of Rome” is essentially one large flat that has been cut into three private rooms with bathrooms & they share a common hallway and entrance. It is in a large building with a great elevator on a busy Piazza very close to the Vatican wall. The rooms are intelligently designed with fixtures & storage areas that increase the... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
