I booked this hotel for me and my girlfriend about three months before our visit to rome. Just one day before our arrival I got an e-mail and was told that they have a plumbing problem and they organised another hotel for us (which was cheaper than Residenza Roma) and we should directly go there. Such things can happen and... More

Booked this at the last minute for a short (4 night) break to Rome. The Residenza Roma is ideally placed, you can walk to all the main attractions from this address. We took the ShuttleBus from the airport which dropped us off less than 10 minutes walk away and costs just 6 Euros per person each way compared with 48... More

The rooms were clean and nice, newly renovated, bathroom was big and cosy. We got fresh towels every day. The only thing bothered me, was that we didn't get shampoos every day, just on the first, arrival day and then nothing. The receptionists were very nice and the first receptionist explained us everything - pointing out on the map on... More

• My wife and I booked the Residenza Roma through Expedia. We looked at the location at it did not seem that far from the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo. The receptionist (Pamela) was lovely and on arrival, showed us the best places to see, best routes to use, areas where the restaurants are, etc. She even gave us a map... More

We stayed here 24 and 25 April. We were greeted at the reception desk by Pamela who was very helpful in highlighting a local map and giving us transportation directions. Our room was a separate apartment in the ground-floor courtyard. It had a bedroom, bath, and combined living/dining area. Continental breakfast was sufficient to get us going in the morning,... More

We came to rome on the 28th April and left on the 1st May. We booked this holiday through last minute.com and it was fantastic. On arrival to the hotel the receptionist was very sweet and helpful, she got a map and highlighted exactly where we were, the main tourist must see spots, the easiest and most direct route to... My boyfriend and I booked this hotel as part of a package holiday and paid a good price for what we got. We stayed for 5 nights in December and had a great stay, although there were a few downsides (but nothing that hindered the holiday at all). Reception isn't 24 hours, although we didn't find this to be an... More

Stayed at the Residenza Roma in October of 2013. The hotel is difficult to find, because it requires you to go through an unmarked door on the street, then up to the second floor, and then, through a marked set of doors to reception. The receptionist is not around after 6 p.m., and you are given two keys to get... More
