This hotel was great for a sightseeing trip to Rome with the family. The room was clean and breakfast was provided every day. We arrived late at night and it was quite difficult to find - the Caribinieri opposite had to help us to phone the hotel owner to let us in. Also, we asked them to book a taxi... More

The hotel is on the first floor within a residential block with a lawyer firm below. The staff are really accomodating and the rooms are a good size. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. The Internet is hit and miss but that is the same across the city. Having spoken to a lot of other tourists during my... More

Stayed here as a couple for 3 nights. If you have a map it is easy to find. from the airport we caught the Sitbus shuttle for 6 euros each otherwise the taxi would have been 48. We were impressed with our room. It was cleaned every day, good size and the bathroom with the walk in shower is fantastic... More

We arrived to be told there was a problem with our room and we would have to go to another hotel for 1 night. We were taken to another hotel 100 yards away on the same street. This was clean but small and cheaper than the Residenza. Not a great start. However once we had transferred back to the Residenza... More

Here's a breakdown of the hotel experience for two females travelling together: Hotel location was on a very quiet street and close to many restaurants and central to many of the tourist attractions. Plan to do a lot of walking to the many tourist attractions - its the best way to get around. The only time we took the subway... More

Our room (on,the ground floor of a residence just beside the foreseen building) had nothing to see with what the website announced (see pitcures). What a deception for our 2 nights stay in Roma. Air conditioning did not work fine and was really noisy. Fridge was even worse (we had to switch it off to get some rest). No decoration... More

We booked this hotel as part of our honeymoon. I had paid and arranged before hand for chocolates and flowers to be in the room for when we arrived and the staff had even put some sparkling wine and a little note in the room too, which was a really nice touch. The lady in reception was fantastic. In all... More

I booked this hotel for me and my girlfriend about three months before our visit to rome. Just one day before our arrival I got an e-mail and was told that they have a plumbing problem and they organised another hotel for us (which was cheaper than Residenza Roma) and we should directly go there. Such things can happen and... More

Booked this at the last minute for a short (4 night) break to Rome. The Residenza Roma is ideally placed, you can walk to all the main attractions from this address. We took the ShuttleBus from the airport which dropped us off less than 10 minutes walk away and costs just 6 Euros per person each way compared with 48... More

The rooms were clean and nice, newly renovated, bathroom was big and cosy. We got fresh towels every day. The only thing bothered me, was that we didn't get shampoos every day, just on the first, arrival day and then nothing. The receptionists were very nice and the first receptionist explained us everything - pointing out on the map on... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
