This small boutique hotel was large enough to handle all of our needs. The front desk service was excellent. The daily breakfast was served until 9:30am so we never felt rushed in the morning. Loved the room and the amenities.

This hotel is located in our favorite part of Rome, the Monti district. My husband and I stayed here overnight March 12th in transit to the US. We found the front desk people to be friendly and seemingly knowledgeable, although we did not need to ask them any questions. Our room was large with a terrace. The hotel is clean... More

My wife and myself had a week stay in March and enjoyed it very much. We have picked the hotel for several reasons: close to Termini, centerally located where you can reach the attractions by foot and in a recreational areas, and above all the hotel facilities. Almost everything went as planned and the decent price we have paid made... More

We read previous Tripadvisor comments about this hotel to make our choice. We weren't disappointed. Ideal location for the Termini station as well as a comfortable walk into the city. Our room (twin) was well appointed with wardrobe and storage space adequate and a good sized bathroom - the Jacuzzi shower cubicle was a bit on the tiny size but... More

Stayed here last week for just one night. Only had 24 hours to see Rome and upon arrival our room wasn't yet ready which we had expected since we arrived prior to check-in, there was a woman there named Elena who was there to help tourists with their travel needs. She literally was amazing!! She helped us figure out the... More

We stayed 3 nights and the hotel met our expectations. Our room (a triple) was very large & comfortable and had everything we needed. There were plenty of choices at breakfast and the coffee was fantastic! The hotel was located within walking distance to many sites and close to train and bus stops.

Three friends and I went to Rome for a few days. The hotel was good and rooms were very clean so cannot fault it on that front. However the service was horrible and the staff very rude. I was quite surprised to see this as the reviews on trip advisor say otherwise. We felt as if we were not welcome... More

Dear Sonam S, Thank you, first of all, for at least having been honest about the hotel being clean... :) I would like to start the rest by saying I am sorry that we gave you that impression: racism is something we cannot and will not ever contemplate: as a matter of fact, in the hotel work Italians, Romanians, people... Raffaelo was a nice hotel in a good location, at a great cost. We stayed early march 2015. It had lots of positives but there were a few negatives too. We liked it as it was a little off the main tourist track but still close enough to walk everywhere and in a quiet street. We did catch a train... More

Dear LeMae 32, What could I possiibly say after a romance like yours? :) We are happy you enjoyed your holiday. Fiorella (the breakfast lady) was very flattered to hear how much she was missed, even though the other ladies in the breakfast area know how to do the tea, as well, and the reception desk was astonished to see... Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
