I did a lot of research to choose this place. It met all our expectations. The breakfast is awesome. The lobby is very warm and inviting with daily newspapers and free quality coffee and tea always there. I like that they offer to carry your bags to the room but do not insist on it. Most guests here carry their... More

We recently had the pleasure to stay at this lovely little hotel in the centre of Rome. It is ideally located for all the sights and transport systems. From the moment we booked until checkout, the hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. They organised a car to collect us from the Airport for a reasonable €50 ! Breakfast was... More

This is a charming hotel tucked away on Via Urbana in Central City Rome. 15 minutes to the Colosseum, Vittoriano and Forum with all kinds of trattorias and other attractions nearby. This is in an older building that is well maintained and quant. All of the staff were great but the hotels' real gem is its concierge Elena. Elena went... More

It is a lovely hotel, our room was very clean and spacious, with a street view. Breakfast offered a wide choice of hot and cold food. Wish we stayed for more nights to try all the food that was available (scrambled and boiled eggs, ham, cheese, fruits etc) didn't interact with hotel staff much but when we did, everyone was... This city hotel deserves much more than its rating. It's a lovely little place. From the moment you walk through the door you it's know that all is going to be well. The friendly welcome - for us at 10.30pm after a trying journey - from Eduardo (who also recommended a restaurant for a our very late dinner) was a... More

Very pleased with this place. It's a proper little hotel with polite staff, a very helpful concierge, clean comfortable rooms and a quirkily good location not far from the Colosseum. It's situated on the Via Urbana which has several nice restaurants and bars on it along with old-fashioned independent craft shops selling glass, leather and all sorts of stuff. It's... More

Where can I start? I like everything from this hotel, from the services, rooms, sleep quality, breakfast, etc. It was much more than I had expected. Lets start from the service. We were welcome by a friendly front desk Lady, and since we got there a little bit early, so we could not get in to our room yet when... More

Even beats a Venice 5 star hotel. Out of the five hotels we stayed in throughout Italy, this was by far the best. It didn't seem like it at first as it's not astronomically amazing, but once I went to the others to compare, this was hands down #1. Free breakfast was the best, room size amazing for Italy, friendly... More

This was our second time visiting Rome and this hotel. It was exactly as we remembered it from the last time! Location; This hotel is in an excellent location. About 8-10 minutes walk from the main Termini train station (which is where the airport bus drops you off). It is very well located for all the sights too! We could... More

Dear Simey83, Thank you for having shared your opinion about us: our guests' feedback is very important to us, as it has always been a goo source of improvement- of ourselves, and of our services, as well... We spent 5 nights at Raffaello Hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews which turned out to be an excellent choice. The staff, especially Elena, was always helpful in providing information about how to get around Rome and places to dine. The room was attractive, well appointed, and had a comfortable, king-size bed. The continental breakfast offered a nice variety of... More

Dear Mark, Between Raffaello's position, which you have mentioned, the beautiful small narrow cobble stoned streets around full of small boutiques and handcraft shops, as well as of trattorias, tavernas or small restaurants, which you have as well written about, the beauty and the coziness of the room, and me, ...I can tell you you have reached the most important... Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
