we stayed here for 4 nights in april 2015 and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was in a convenient location in easy walking distance of the coliseum and metro stops. The room was clean and had really effective black out blinds. There was nice fluffy towels in the bathroom and the shower was nice and powerful. The breakfast had plenty of choice... More

We stayed in this hotel in April and found it easy to walk from there to all attractions in the city. The room was quiet and you were unaware that you were in the centre of a city. The breakfast buffet was excellent and it was also great that you could go to the lounge and make teas and (proper) coffees... More

When I first arrived here by taxi, I thought it was in the middle of nowhere except relatively close to the train station and to the beautiful Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. However, as the days passed, I realized that it is more of a neighborhood than a specifically tourist area but there are lots of restaurants just a few... More

Our second stay but not our last at this lovely hotel. Our two rooms were ready when we arrived despite an earlier than normal arrival. Rome was unseasonably cold and our rooms were on the chilly side - our only complaint. Check out the bed pillow; if it doesn't suit you, they will be glad to bring you one more... More

We had a great 4 night stay here. Elena and all the other staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and more than happy to help us. From asking about how to get to attractions to suggesting great restaurants in the area they were all very helpful. The breakfast selection is quite good, better than most selections I've seen in hotels... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights at the end of March while visiting Rome. The hotel was in a great position for our needs. 10mins walk from the Termini station and then 10/15min walk to the Colosseum where we could then reach the other sites or get on the hop on/hop off bus. The hotel had a good... More

We had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful hotel for 3 nights in February, the 6th, 7th & 8th. Our flight was delayed for 2 hours and prior to leaving the UK we had booked a local restaurant for that night. A call to the hotel when we landed asking for their assistance to delay our reservation was genuinely... More

We found this hotel very pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast is hearty enough to hold you until dinner...not just cereal and toast. Hopefully the construction directly in front will be completed soon...it did provide unwelcome early morning noise.

Dear GmaDonnaB, Thank you for having gives us a litle bit of your time, we are happy to hear your staying here was pleasant. :) It is true, our breakfast seems to be one of our strenght points : we have tried to make everyone happy, or at least, as many as possible, so we have added, besides the croissants... this small hotel was ideal for sightseeing by foot, Ideal location and staff were very friendly and a mind of information. They gave us excellent tips on how to get around and entrances into the main attractions.

This small boutique hotel was large enough to handle all of our needs. The front desk service was excellent. The daily breakfast was served until 9:30am so we never felt rushed in the morning. Loved the room and the amenities.

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
