Very decent hotel close to the main station - 5 minutes walk. Room was spacious and all amenities fine. Breakfast was good and staff very friendly. We had to leave early for an early morning flight and the staff were very accommodating to offer us an early breakfast. The attendant at the desk recommended an excellent restaurant in the area.

The only thing going for this hotel is its close to the railway station so you can make a quick exit, Had to fight to get our breakfast and argue with the male owner or manager, had to return to our room to get copy of our booking voucher and even then he showed his paperwork which was for another... It was a sweltering 86 degrees in Rome and our room was baking hot. We spoke with a hotel manager Guiseppe Pino for another 45 minutes to no avail. To actually get the names of hotel personnel was nearly impossible. The manager refused to tell us his name! Only the Bellman revealed some names to us for a tip. No... More

Very helpful staff. Comfortable & clean room & ensuite, good choices for breakfast. BUT above all, fantastic location - so close to Roma Termini & therefore buses and taxis. Many great restaurants within easy walking distance - all grades of price but found several with excellent food.

My wife and I stayed here from Friday 5th December to Tuesday 9th December. The room was small but clean and was serviced every day. The bathroom was a little small but again clean, the only problem being the door was very difficult to open because it had swollen at the bottom. The staff were great, and let us leave... More

Our travel agent booked us into this 3 star hotel, prior to our boat trip. Our search indicated that it was a reasonably priced hotel, but the reality was somewhat different. On entering the dingy groun floor area, there were signs indicating at least 4 different hotels in the same building. We took the creaking 1920 style lift and crawled up to the first floor. The reception... Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
