Great place. We stayed in the room with the private bathroom well worth the extra very comfy great bed. We were lucky 3 days here and we were the only people there like having your own private apartment, great. WIFI included Luca the owner was friendly, informative and great help he recommended a few spots that were worth visiting. Thanks... More

Lovely appartment located at one of the most amazing sites of Rome. The owner, Arianna, was very kind and truly helpful. The house really clean and nice and with a lot of charm. We were a group of 8 friends and found it very easy to get organized: lots of place in the closets, comfortable bedrooms and clean bathroms. Metro... More

We rented the entire apartment for 3 nights in June. The inside of the apartment was nicely furnished ,and the air conditioning and wi-fi were great. The location was perfect, as we were steps from the Colosseum, and not to far from a metro stop. The host Luca was informative, and even gave us a map with his recommendations for... More

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would love to stay again! The host was really lovely and was able to arrange airport transfers for me. The house was quiet even though there were other guests staying I only saw them once. 20 seconds walk out the front door is the Coliseum(!), metro station is very close and the hop-on-hop-off tourist bus... We were very excited to find a place so close to the Colosseum, but even more than that a place that was so affordable. Luca was very friendly and made some great recommendations on food nearby. We walked all over that part of Rome for two days, which is doable but you will definitely get your exercise each day.

Clean and comfortable bed and breakfast in an excellent location near the colosseum. Luca the host and owner was great and very accommodating. He recommended pizza at Li Rioni just down the street from the b&b and it was some of the best pizza we have ever had and very affordable. Lots of other great food in the area as... More

No frills here or anywhere else in Europe for that matter. But this was a great location, as close as you can get to all desired locations. Breakfast was basing but god and the place was very clean and well kept.

We only had one and a half days in Rome and stayed here 2 nights. Luca was very helpful and pounted us in the right direction for well priced, delicious food. We walked everywhere, and only used public transport for a dinner out in trastevere. Perfect place to be see a lot in a short amount of time. It was... More

We had the very large Green room for 5 nights. I was not sure about sharing a bathroom but thankfully we shared with very considerate people like us. The TV in the bedroom is very large and they provide a DVD player so on next stay I would bring a DVD or 2 to watch after our LONG days exploring... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
