After many visits, we just love this small hotel! The rooms are unique and the hotel works with you to find just the right space. It is located in a great neighborhood and is about a five minute walk to the Vatican. Lots of food choices and shopping in the local vicinity. The hotels cafe/bistro is lovely and breakfast is... I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The first thing that stands out is its layout. the reception is a small place next to the restaurant, and the rooms are scattered in at least two different buildings nearby. When we rang the bell at the address we had on the reservation email we were led to the reception and after... More

We arrive at the hotel at about 12 PM, went to the address pointed in the booking paper and they sent us to a cafe/restaurant across the stress to look for the reception. This was the first sign that something was wrong. The check-in wasn't available until 2 PM, so we took a walk around the Vatican. When we returned,... More

The reception is separate from the building you will stay in but I found it not to be a problem. Room a Was cleaned everyday and it was of a good size with a small fridge inside which was great to have as the weather was very hot. Also rooms are air conditioned and it is the first 1 star... More

We arrived at the front door, and were greeted by the clerk who came from across the street. Schlepped all of our bags to the other side and checked in, then had to go back across to the actual hotel. It had a certain old world charm. Elevator has 4 passenger max (less if carrying luggage) Our room was on... More

After 5hours of travel, a flight, a bus, a train, 30min walk with luggage, we arrived at the hotel address. We rang the intercom to say we are here to check in, the receptionist answered and said she would come get us, to our surprise she came up on the street behind us and not through the door in front... We just arrived back from a wonderful 4 nights in this lovely hotel. It was clean, the room was very comfortable, it was much closer to the vatican than expected and the staff were all immensely helpful and friendly. The price was very reasonable (cheap actually!) and would definitely suggest it to anyone! The breakfast was varied and good and... More

My husband booked this without reading the reviews and I was scared! We were there for 4 nights and had no problems. It was clean, friendly and a good value. Getting in and out was the hardest part with 3 different keys! No problems with the bill, service or WIFI as mentioned in other reviews. The neighborhood is a little... More

Had a vacation with my family in Rome, we picked this hotel as it was walking distance to the Vatican, cafe's and nearby transportation to tour around. We have not a problem about the room. The staff were friendly, informative and very helpful. The hotel's reception is a block away, and the breakfast is also served next to the reception.... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
