Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Abitart Hotel. The location is South of the city centre but close to good transport links. We travelled with a toddler and out of the 4 days we walked into Rome and back on 3 of them. It takes about 30 mins to walk to the Colloseum and then you are... More

unfortunately service was not even close to expected. The staff was unpolite and food was AWFUL. Not worth a penny. The position is far from being central and then neighborhood is noisy. The worst is it's NOT clean at all! AVOID this hotel and specially the BAR-cocktail bar.

First, the good -- the bed was very comfortable, the staff were pleasant, and the breakfasts were satisfying. But when almost everything else is really poor, even those three things aren't enough to get me to return. This hotel just really isn't ready for prime time. A few examples: The internet is among the slowest I've encountered in any major... More

Abitart is a 4-star hotel, at walking distance from Piramide station. The hotel is full of art - the type that makes one pause, and that makes the hotel different from 'design' hotels, never mind the chain hotels. Rooms are fine, windows open for fresh air, beds and showers are good. There is free WiFi. The street noise can be... More

The hotel is not centrally located - they claim to be so, but that is not the case. It is close to the Metro station Piramido and the train station Ostiense. The rooms are nice - we got a so-called suite..... Did not even come close to the definition of a suite..... But the extra cost was not so high.... More

I was only staying for one night for an event which was good for me as I was in the middle of a big project which meant I had to stay connected which is very frustrating at this hotel. In the lobby it's good connection but the rooms terrible so you finish sitting in the lobby for hours which is... More

It is about 8-10 min walking distance from the train station, just right next to Carrefour super market. Service is good and the staff is pleasant. Our room was lovely and clean. The hotel design is artsy and colorful. Breakfast was simple but sufficient to fuel your day. Overall experience was good and enjoyable.

The rooms were nice and well stocked with toiletries. Breakfast was good but they kept running out of items, not just food but cups and plates as well. The service was very poor with surly staff although there were a couple of exceptions. There was a bar cum restaurant that we weren't allowed to use for a drink. Instead we... More

We stayed for two nights in this hotel and I faced a great service from very nice staff. Before our arrival, I had two call the hotel to make some special requests. Federico was very friendly, helpful and responded promptly. Upon checkin, they gave us very warm welcoming. They were ready to answer all our questions about the hotel, area,... More

The hotel staff are lovely and lobby/restaurant area very nicely decorated. The rooms have interesting decor and are pretty well appointed, although they are a little worn around the edges. The hotel makes a good compromise in the expensive Roman hotel market between reasonable price and location.
