5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

Ive never written or posted a review but after my stay at the Youth Station Hostel, I felt I needed to. It was an excellent experience. The new management team (said they took over several months ago) made the environment of the hostel very friendly. It was extremely easy to meet and converse with the other guests. In comparison to... More

I would not recommend this hostel to anyone! The service was terrible (there was no one at their '24 hr' reception) and the room was vile. We think there may have been squatters living there too.. After being there 30 minutes we cut our losses and left.. There are plenty of places to stay on Rome on a budget -... More

Let me start from the beginning. When I arrived at Youth Station Hostel's supposed 24 hour reception I had to wait for the manager who was "at lunch". Instead of the manager, who I really wish to name but for ethical reasons I will not, some construction contractors greeted me and my friend on arrival. The hostel was completely unstaffed... More

Of all the hostels I ever stayed in, this was the worst. Absolutely not recommended! Room like a bunker, bathroom moldy and stinky, linen dirty and from 6 people in our room 4 had BED BUGS! Furthermore, hostel staff is really unfriendly and not helpful at all, even with simple requests. And we were fouled about the price. Only good... More

Please do not go to this place! The photo on their website is absolutely a lie. Yes they got bed, they got a kitchen and they got a shower room, but it's not usable for a human being. I've been travelling through Europe and staying in numerous hostels, I am not picky at all as long as I got a... More

If you like silver linings, this place isn't for you. PROS: -check out. CONS: -advised upon arrival to take a seat by receptionist because he was eating dinner and would check me in when he was finished, which was 15 minutes later. Not what I wanted to hear after a long day traveling. -rude reception, bent passport during check in.... More

I've never seen such rude and unwelcoming behaviour on hostel staff. On top of all: their price of a bed is 16 euros but if you come there without reservation they make you pay more! They made us pay 20 euros and when we asked why we did not get any explanation, we did not get any receipt either, but... More

Horrible staff. Shiiiiiit customer service. Filthy. Other people in the room/s had bed bugs. Threatening emails from the manager when I told them about my bad experience. Would not recommend. Spend a little more and go for something a bit better

This is a very typical youth hostel at the first sight. Situated in the heart of piazza bologna, you can find the only youth hostel nearby just right next to the one of the most popular Italian bars in town, "Meeting place". This hostel is just really for sleep and meet people from all around the world. A beautiful Italian... More
