Have just returned from a 5 day stay in Rome. Hotel Villa San Pio was very pleasant ... good service, attentive staff ..... nice clean room (not 100% perfect .... but we were in a standard room on a special offer .... so acceptable) ..... excellent breakfast ... free WiFi ... etc. Recommended. more

We enjoyed very much staying here for 6 nights in september 2009. Having very busy days we loved the quiet surroundings and the delicious candle-light dinner in the evenings. Excellent staff. Five-star buffet breakfast. Busses nearby take you "anywhere" in 10 minutes. more

This was a wonderful hotel. The breakfast was amazing and it is a short walk to public transportation. The area is very quiet and safe. My room was small and basic, but clean and comfortable. If you're going to be on your feet for 12 hour sightseeing bootcamp days, then you need a restful night and a great breakfast to get you going! While the location is south and out of the way, the atmosphere and service were truly memorable. You can't go wrong staying in this gem! more

Nice air-conditioned hotel! Rooms good, except jacuzzi bath which didnt work, delicious breakfast and even more special when having it in the garden! Lovely area. 5 mins walk to metro! Slightly expensive rates! more
