The Hotel Parker is a three star residence attractively located within walking distance to the Termini rail and Metro stations and some historic attractions. The rooms are small but adequate and the ensuite is rather cluttered with shower, toilet, hand basin and bidet all in an area of about 2 meters by 1 meter. It is a bit squeezey for... More

The hotel was clean, reasonably quiet & the bed comfortable. The room was small, as wass the lift. The hotel is close to a few restaurants & the metro, tram & bus stops. The disappointment was the breakfast. Orange cordial, not juice & lukewarm milk for cereals. Would probably choose somewhere else if ever back in Rome.

Hotel is in a great location about 1.5km from the Colosseum just a short walk, also the hotel is very close to Termini Train Station. We arrived very early on the day we checked in & with no hesitation we were able to check in early. The room we stayed in was small but not unbearable. The bedroom & bathroom... More

Good value basic hotel. About 15 minutes walk from Termini in one direction and similar in the other direction to get to the colosseum. Hotel has a small reception area where you can buy water/beer etc. The breakfast room is downstairs from reception where they serve cheese, ham, bread, cereal, croissants, fruit salad, yoghurt etc for breakfast and a selection... Despite the relative ordinary exterior, inside it is neat and well maintained. There is a small lift to the upper floors, limited duration of free wifi (ask at reception for the access code), coffee/tea make facility and a safe in the room. We slept in a room that faces the front street but we did not experienced that the outside... More

Not bad location from termini. Walkable to numerous points of interest. Cleanish.... All find. However did remove garbage or clean cups (or provide new). Breakfast facilities was decent. However poor food selection and did not keep service open as they said it is scheduled. Some staff are friendly. Some not so much... Was supposed to be provided with double bed,... More

Booked our short stay through groupon. The draw was the xmas market held in piazzo navorna! We arrived by the bus shuttle from the airport, i would advise that you check times of return before you proceed as they are very efficient and punctual. Cannot fault the hotel, clean, very friendly staff, good selection for continental breakfast, good location to... More

We booked for a weekend in Rome, and did not want to spend to much time travelling from the hotel into the city so we decided to book the Hotel Parker, a few minutes walk from the Termini. We arrived at the hotel after a horrendous journey - a general strike in Rome in the day delayed our aircraft followed... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
