Excellent location and very good value for money. They have English speaking staff, which is a big plus. There's a really nice gay guy (dark skinned young man, I think he's the owner's son) who knows Rome well and is eager to help. That being said, the walls are paper thin. Was next to an American couple who kept shouting... More

Thin walls and hard beds. Otherwise perfectly in line with a 2 star experience. No reception on the television and the fridge didn't work. The breakfast buffet is perfectly in line with expectations. Reception staff is cordial and helpful but this hotel needs a major renovation. The location is great.

We stayed at Hotel Paisiello Parioli for 5 nights this December. It's a worthwhile hotel to stay at, right by a beautiful park ('Villa Burghese') and close to the centre (bus stop in front of hotel–10 minutes ride, or can walk through park). Our room was spacious and clean, beds very comfortable; hotel staff polite and helpful (friendly atmosphere). Quality/price... More

About 20 minutes walk to Via Veneto and from there everything is so close. Or alternatively a 10€ cab ride into the city. Very quiet and nice to be away from the loud city centre at night.Hotel staff are very friendly.

We booked our stay here at the Pasiello Parioli Hotel this September for 2 nights. We arrived late in the afternoon for check-in with little time to spare to see the Coliseum. So we dropped our bags off in our room and left right away. We returned later that evening to find cockroaches and centipedes in our room. Changing rooms... More

It appears that no one has reviewed this hotel for quite a while, so I thought it would be good to have an update. The hotel is not 5 star but they don't claim to be either. The room was a little outdated, but clean. All of the amenitites worked without any issues. The bed was a little stiff for... More

While this is not a 5 star hotel, it is clean, comfortable, has a friendly staff and the location is excellent. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay right next to the beautiful Borghese gardens, close to the old city center, but a bit off the touristy track, then this is a great place to stay. As... More

This isn't a five star hotel. But it's a good bargain choice in the quiet embassy suburb of Rome - walk through the Borghese gardens to get to the city centre. I liked its period charm, pleasant staff and peaceful location, near decent restaurants. But breakfast was dreadful - there must be a cafe nearby? Get a bus from Termini... More

A bit old and not renovated recently hotel, but with its style and charm, and very clean. Very friendly and extreemely helpful staff. Breakfast is simple, but if you leave too early they'll give you a take-away breakfast. Location is a bit remote, you cannot walk to Spanish Steps or anywhere in the centre, it's simply too far and there... More

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
