Super clean and comfortable rooms... actually, one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed at. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast each morning was a nice bonus, friendly staff there as well. This hotel is within a short walking distance from Termini Station (where you can take a city bus or the metro pretty much anywhere in Rome).... More

We booked 2 months in advance and got a good deal for family of 4. They gave us a large room with a balcony. Service is excellent esp.the nice lady on night duty. Breakfast offered was Continental buffet (cold) and no changes in the dishes despite our 5 nights stay in winter (suggestion : perhaps the kitchen staff can alternate... More

I found this place to be affordable, very clean, and most importantly, friendly. Everyone on the staff was great and the location is an easy walk to Termini. I actually walked to every location from this hotel. I will stay there again if I ever return to Rome!

The room and the all hotel were very clean; there were marble floors everywhere (which I loved!); the neighborhood is semi-safe considering it is near the train station: convenient location if you are traveling by train, but catch the subway train to go downtown,or be ready for a 30+ minute walk to get to Piazza Venezia (the vittoriano monument). A modern old hotel close to the Termini Station, you can get to anywhere from there. Its well located, and kinda safe at night. Theres a good pizza place across the street. Right close to some ancient constructions that may surprise you.

I chose this hotel after reading reviews at tripadvisor and it was a really good choice! Great quality for price paid. Pros: - Quiet rooms; - Wi-fi; - New and clean bathroom; - Breakfast included, with a reasonable variety (great chocolate croissaints and out of normal orange juice but good); - Close to termini station - 3/5min walking (metro, train,... This was a lovely hotel (if you omit the grumpy day concierge, the others were great). The room had a small balcony overlooking a courtyard. Breakfast was included and was typical European fare. Bedroom and bathroom clean and quite roomy, tastefully decorated and furnished. Very close to Central Termini and start of Hop on/off buses. nice local restaurants. Not too... More

Its within walking distance to alot of things but it is also right between repubblica metro station and the main station, Termini. We got a bus transfer to and from the airport for €3.90 each way pp and it dropped off... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
