This hotel is in a very accessible location, especially if you are taking the train. It was very clean but on the small size. I stayed on my own and felt comfortable in the hotel. The breakfast is good and the staff are cordial. It was kind of noisy; I could hear everything going on outside of my room but... More

Good location, about 3 blocks to Termini station, with bus and Metro connections to everywhere. Comfortably furnished, definitely would stay here again. Shower and breakfast room were both cramped, but that's Roma. Great little restaurant around the corner, La Capitale, and many other dinner options and groceries nearby.

Nice hotel and good value for money. We stayed there for four nights. The first night I have problem with one of the beds but I have talked to the staff and they were very kind and immediately change our room. The hotel is very close to Termini station and two metro station. There are some good restaurants in the... More

Pretty nice hotel and good value for your money. Good breakfast they have a very nice courtyard where you can sit and watch the world go by. Staff are friendly and it is quiet yet close to the hustle and bustle in 5 to 10 minute walk.

Stayed only one night before our flight home. The location was good but that's about he only positive comment I can make. The room was tiny, bathroom extremely cramped with shower that constantly ran hot and cold. Twin beds pushed together and were very uncomfortable. Pillows the worst I have ever had to use. No tea and coffee facilities in... More

The staff were all helpful and kind and it is a walk of only a few minutes from Termini to the hotel. Opposite is a good restaurant and underneath is a bar with great food and good prices. The rooms are a little small, but that's Rome.

Hotel was nice enough. Didn't like that there were no irons available for guest you were directed to a cleaner down the road. Showers are extremely small and water temperatures varies greatly while showering. People are friendly and helpful and overall was a decent experience.

This is an affordable hotel in a central location. The rooms are small, but all areas of the establishment are kept ultra-clean and well-appointed. For breakfast, there is a great variety of cheese, cold cuts, bread, pastries, cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc. Both regular coffee and espresso drinks are available. The front desk staff is cordial and helpful. There are plenty... More

5 nights in this comfortable Hotel, literally 2 mins from Termini but in a quiet side street with no noise or disruption. Excellent breakfast with super staff ready to get more coffee or anything else. Friendly and helpful staff on reception - I never saw who it was that refreshed the room every day and brought the clean towels. It's... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
