We stayed here June 15-19th and loved every minute. We walked the 20 mins from the train station and found it without any issues. Reception was amazing and very welcome after a long flight. Check-in was a breeze, and all smiles, making us feel welcome from the moment we stepped in. Things we loved: -great breakfast, lots of variety, great... More

Excellent B&B with the perfect location, a great staff and great prices. Rosanna made most of our dining and tour reservations and had excellent recommendations. I will stay there again next time I visit Rome

I cannot speak highly enough about the Caesar House and the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful even before we arrived- answering emails quickly and adjusting to our changes in arrival times at the last minute. It was an easy walk from the train station and our room was lovely. Rossana was a huge help in planning our days by providing... More

This was our second stay at Caesar House and this will definitely be our first choice again the next time we come to Rome. Our room was very comfortable, very clean and nicely decorated and the staff here could not be more friendly and more helpful. Full marks to Rosanna, Valentina and Summi(?)

Lovely comfortable rooms right near the colosseum. Great in room or buffet breakfast and friendly staff. On the second floor of a charming old building. There is a lift though, but a few steps leading to it so no wheelchair access. The staff made you feel like part of the family, If you are looking for this location and a... More

My wife and I were here about five years and wanted to come back. Position is great for the 'ruins' and plenty of food and drink places handy. Rooms spacious and staff excellent again. Our first room looked over rear lane where Irish Pub stayed open with outside patrons until after 3am, so request a front room if that may... More

The staff here are great. The location makes it easy to see most of the sights, easily walkable. The Monti neighbourhood has numerous good restaurants and cafés. Highly recommended and friendlier than a hotel!

We (my wife and I ) just spent 4 nights in Rome and stayed at the Caesar House, our plane got us into Rome before official check in time and we only had to wait about ten minutes for our room to be ready, we did email ahead. Our room(Livia) had a big bed, two twins together, a day bed,... More

Gorgeous little place in an old building ~ which makes it even more special and unique and definitely lends to the rustic charm and character of the buildings and experiences of Rome. We checked in late - Rosanna was at the front desk and helped us to check in quick and easy and hassle free. It is an old buildings... More

We spent 5 days in Rome and stayed in Caesar House Residenze Romane. Besides its clean and comfortable rooms, the breakfast served in room (for free) and its location were awesome. But especially the kind and friendly behaviour of staff was unforgettable. Thank you very much Rosenna, Valentina, Summh and Huda! It was like home at Rome.

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
