Just a 10 minutes stroll to the Colosseum, friendly staff and great breakfast (which was sent to our room). With Metro Colloseo just minutes away, it was really convenient for our travel to the other places of interest. Hotel is really clean and tastefully decorated. Recommended!

Caesar House is a very good place to stay in Rome. Situated next to the Forum Romanum and the Colloseo. Clean rooms, good breakfast and nice staff. Very good value for the money. Easy to travel to via Rome Termini and metro Colloseo.

The perfect location - just in front of The Roman Forum. We didin't need a public transport at all to reach all interesting places. Vatican maybe is a little bit far from this place, but it is also possible to go there on foot. The room itself not very spacios, but cozy and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.... More

Excellent place to stay when in Roma. Staff was extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast was delivered to room each morning at exactly the specified time. Wonderful start to the morning. Room was plenty spacious and the bathroom (toilet/shower) was perfect. Colosseum only minutes away by foot as is the metro station (which can quickly get you anywhere). Also, check out... More

As already many times has been said here, the hotel located in the center of the city. So you can reach historical attractions just in some minutes. The hotel itself seems to be a big flat on the 3rd floor of the nice house of the 19th century. The interiors are traditional and handsome. The staff is very friendly and... More

The top draw here is the location. You can walk out your front door and be at the Colosseum or Forum within minutes. In fact, if you are a walker most destinations are within reach. We only used public transport for the Vatican and Trastevere. The building is quaint and the rooms are spacious if a little rough around the... More

The location of the rooms was ideal. 5 minutes walk to the Colosseum, 10 minutes to the main shopping streets. We had the Gaia room, which was small for 3 people, poorly and old fashion decorated and the beds were not that good. We stayed only for one night and it was a Friday so I don't know if the... More

Outstanding hotel tucked away on Via Cavour is an A+ for location. Within walking distance of a number of Rome's attractions. Staff very friendly and helpful, very child friendly. Hotel staff spent extra time chatting with the kids and making them feel welcomed.

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
