Rooms have AC and that is a big plus, the double bed was super small and so was the room, my mistake for not ordering 2 beds instead of one. Some other rooms with 2 separate beds looked way bigger.Free Wifi, small uneventful breakfast with a great location. more

Stayed at this hotel for four nights end of September, great location about eight hundred yards from Termini station where we were dropped off by the coach from Ciampino airport so just walked to hotel as we knew the area from our last visit. Probably last people to check in as it was about ten at night however Monica on... more

My wife and I were on a budget, but did not want to stay near the train station area. We walked about 5-10 minutes from the train station to an area that was mostly businesses and government buildings, but very quiet. The hotel is run by an older Italian couple and younger daughter. Although the rooms were tiny (this is... more

After an unfortunate beginning in Rome the experience was basic and serviceable experience. Like many hotels in Rome it is a couple of floors in a large old office tower. It is in the seedy end of Rome near the train station. Make sure you have a fair idea where it is before you arrive because it is a little... more

For someone on a budget, I highly recommend the Margaret. It is a family run hotel. The management is very helpful, the location is excellent, being very near a train station that serves all of Italy. The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom, which was newly renovated in the new wing. The continental breakfast was more than... more

Hotel Margaret is real value for money. If you are looking to wake up and leave the hotel to see Rome all day, and to basically only sleep at the hotel it is fantastic. It was very well priced, great/safe location (only 5 min walk to Roma Termini main station. You can easily walk to every sight from here, and... more

I stayed at the Hotel Margaret my first night in Rome. Its a little less than a mile from the train station, which is why I chose it. I had a late flight so I got in, went straight to bed and left first thing in the morning to transfer to my other hotel. This hotel is set up like... more

We had an excellent experience at Hotel Margaret, it was so close to Termini station and accessible to all the attractions by foot. The room was clean and the bed so so comfy! The air conditioning was brand new and the room was very quiet at night. Breakfast was simple, croissant and coffee - but the coffee was amazing and... more

First lets get one thing straight - Hotel Margaret is not a Hotel in the strict sense of the word. It is a number of apartments in a building in Rome that has been changed into a 'Hotel'. Secondly, the walls are just a partition so you can hear the other people chat in their respective rooms. Now in terms... more

My wife and I loved this hotel. It is convenient to the main train station and subway. The owners are very nice and fun to talk with. The rooms are small, but we just wanted a place to sleep at night and shower, so this was just what we needed. Very safe. It is on a busy corner that gets... more
