This is a small boutique hotel in a very good location close to major attractions in Rome. The staff is very friendly and English speaking. Daniel is an exceptional staff who helped us in contacting the Aitalia office for our lost luggage and it finally arrived in the hotel the day before we left Italy. The hotel is clean and... More

Dear Mr Chen, It was a real pleasure for me and all of us of the staff to have you two here in our house. Lost luggages due to airline's issue could be a major concern on holiday, so I'm glad we manage to solve and relieve the problem. I hope you'll keep a good memory of the stay here... More

Rome is a vast city and Residenza A is in a lovely location. The hotel is very small, yet beautifully managed with excellent staff who are eager to answer questions, make dinner reservations and help make suggestions for forays into the busy streets of the city. The decor of the hotel is very pleasing and the rooms are very comfortable.... More

The hotel is located on a very beautiful, safe street among the nicest 5 star hotels in Rome...so definite value based on that. Otherwise we did not find the location to be very centrally located if you want to stop back in the hotel midday...can walk everywhere but still 15 minutes via foot/metro/bus to most sights. The room was clean... More

We stayed one night at Residenza A before our flight back to the States. Make sure you have the address and know the adjacent landmarks/ hotels as many cabs do not know of the hotel (given that it is very small) and the signs are slightly obscured from view. The rooms are very modern and updated. The bathrooms are very... More

Feeling of being at home! And the best ... a beautiful, comfortable, safe home, with Apple computer in the room and in the best street in Rome! Totally different from the hotels we found in Brazil, in fact, we only got to know this proposal when we stayed at the Residenza A! The hotel owner is very solicitous and polite!

We loved the location of this small boutique hotel. Very close to the Spanish Steps and the exceptional Villa Borghese park, lots of great restaurants and sidewalk cafes nearby. Very friendly and accommodating staff, room is relatively basic, but for the price, very good value. Continental breakfast delivered to your room in the morning.

I loved my stay at Residenza A. My room (XL) looked out on Via Veneto and was tastefully furnished and spacious. The location is safe and central so you can walk everywhere. All of the staff were extremely helpful and gave good directions and made excellent recommendations on where Italians themselves would tend to eat and stay. I would definitely... More

This small hotel is in a perfect location and is an extreme value. We spent 5 nights here and found we could not have chosen a better location nor hotel for our purposes. It is located on the best area of the via Veneto. It is surrounded by 4 & 5 star hotel and restaurants. The American Embassy is 3... More

Perfect location on one of the most prestigious and beautiful streets of Rome, ideal for exploring the city by foot. The rooms were as per the photos, clean and well maintained with modern decor and faultless bathroom. The staff (in particular Daniele) provided a personal service that is almost impossible to give in large hotels. Extremely friendly and went out... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
