Great little hotel in perfect location...walking distance to all of Romes main sights. Continental breakfast delivered to you room every morning, limited choice but enough to get you started for the day - cereal, toast and croissants with tea/coffee and juice. Rooms were clean and hotel staff were great...Daniele in particular was really helpful and friendly. Only downside to this... More

We had a fantastic stay at Residenza A in June 2015 for 6 nights! The 3 Concierge, Francesco, Fabrizio & Daniele went out of their way to help us with every aspect of our trip - from how/where to get a taxi, purchasing tickets to the Borghese, to obtaining our train tickets, and providing names to local restaurants.

I've thoroughly researched the "subject" of hotels in Rome, since we are on a budget, but at our advanced age, want also to enjoy the comforts of a clean accommodation, close to everything, and of course -- for a reasonable price, even in the Eternal City. Residenza A was exactly what we were looking for. We were worried a bit... More

From the moment we arrived (very late after delayed flight) we were made to feel welcome by Daniele. We greatly appreciated him staying up to check us in! I loved the concealed street entrance and it made such a difference to staying in big commercial hotels. Room had everything we needed - breakfast served to the room was fab -... More

It's always a pleasure to read about our guests' experience in our house; helpful for us to improve and for future guests to know better what we offer to them. Thank you very much for your nice words! Delayed flights are always an issue. Knowing that, it was no bother to wait until late so that you could feel immediately... More

A very small hotel in a great location and very friendly staff. Breakfast in bed is also a nice touch. These being said, I had some challenges with the air-conditioning as well as the noise from the corridor in the morning. Maybe not my choice for future business-travel, but could consider for a romantic getaway.

This is a small boutique hotel in a very good location close to major attractions in Rome. The staff is very friendly and English speaking. Daniel is an exceptional staff who helped us in contacting the Aitalia office for our lost luggage and it finally arrived in the hotel the day before we left Italy. The hotel is clean and... More

Dear Mr Chen, It was a real pleasure for me and all of us of the staff to have you two here in our house. Lost luggages due to airline's issue could be a major concern on holiday, so I'm glad we manage to solve and relieve the problem. I hope you'll keep a good memory of the stay here... More

Rome is a vast city and Residenza A is in a lovely location. The hotel is very small, yet beautifully managed with excellent staff who are eager to answer questions, make dinner reservations and help make suggestions for forays into the busy streets of the city. The decor of the hotel is very pleasing and the rooms are very comfortable.... More

The hotel is located on a very beautiful, safe street among the nicest 5 star hotels in Rome...so definite value based on that. Otherwise we did not find the location to be very centrally located if you want to stop back in the hotel midday...can walk everywhere but still 15 minutes via foot/metro/bus to most sights. The room was clean... More

We stayed one night at Residenza A before our flight back to the States. Make sure you have the address and know the adjacent landmarks/ hotels as many cabs do not know of the hotel (given that it is very small) and the signs are slightly obscured from view. The rooms are very modern and updated. The bathrooms are very... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
