Well this place was great,so easy to find when we first arrived, they gave us maps of the city and advice where to go in the city and directions showing us how best way to get around the city. We were really close to everything so we could just walk to all the sights, this way we managed to see... more

If you like to share a toilet that doesn't flush with 20 other guests, a sink that's blocked and overflowing, and a freezing shower (I was just relieved water came out!), then this could be the place for you! If you like a hostel that promotes and sells tourist activities for a healthy commission (35% of the total in my... more

Pop Inn may have improved since I was last staying at the hostel, but from the looks of the reviews here it doesn't seem to have done that. The hostel is incredibly over priced for what you get. We had a room for 4 (two double beds) and I swear we thought the beds might fall apart. The washroom was... more

This was an interesting hostel. Very good atmosphere and friendly social staff. Breakfast included was a bonus! Could have been a bit cleaner but then again it is an older building which no matter how much you clean is not going to be as nice as a newer place. Staff went out of their way to make sure you made... more

am sorry if this is very negative, I just wanted to forwarn others. We booked the Pop Inn hostel over 30 days prior to arrival. After we arrived, our reservation was missing. We were told that it would be near impossible to find accomadations b/c of a football game in town. The receptionist at the Pop Inn said that they... more

This is the worst place to stay. To be quiet frank it is a "dump." The people were very nice when we checked in but, after that they were very unhelpful and [--]. Not to mention the price. Rip-off. The train station is across the street which is nice but, they are doing a ton of construction around the area... more

The room itself was OK. The community bathroom was a little on the dirty side. I would never stay here again though. It felt rather expensive for what it really was. Although you would think that being close to the train station would be convenient, in reality it just means that it's a bad area with homeless people fighting. more

I spent a lot of time researching hostels in Rome, so when we arrived at Pop Inn I was highly disappointed. First, we arrived at 10:30pm. Which is great since it was next to the train station (the ONLY good quality of the whole place). However, it seemed that every homeless person/creep was hanging out just outside the train station.... more

Last January I did an exchange with my University and one of the girls organized all of us (28) to stay at Pop Inn. We all arrived at different times. It was okay, my room had room for 6 people and was overlooking a courtyard. We had a private bathroom for the 6 of us that was clean and nice.... more
