just returned from the roma park hotel nowhere near 4 star just about scrapes 3 star. first words the receptionist greeted us with upon our arrival was wait!! we had to wait 3 hours for the room to be ready so had a walk around the area which was awful. all the carpets in our room and the corridors were... more

We spent 3 nights in this hotel, and altogether we were very satisfied. The location of the hotel is not central, (probably that's why it is cheaper) but it's not in the suburbs, and it is very easy to reach there: 10 minutes walk to metro station (Furio Camillo - 6 stations away from the Termini railway station) or there's... more

We stayed here on Contiki tour. It was a nice clean hotel. Wouldn't get 4 stars in Australia, but it was one of the better ones we stayed in around Europe. THe room was small, so was the bathroom, but did exactly what we needed it for, was to sleep and wash. A fair trek to the metro, on only... more

We stayed at this hotel as it was part of our tour package with Contiki. When we first arrived around 11:30am, Francesca at the front desk gave one of our friends his room key, but told my boyfriend and me that our room was not ready and we would have to wait for about an hour to get our hotel... more

The hotel was one of the nicest we stayed at in Europe, although that isn't really saying too much. The hotel was about 15 minute taxi ride from the train station and about a 40 minute ride to the airport. This hotel is NOT located near the major tourist sites. If you are going to Rome to be the normal... more

Me and my boyfriend (in our 20's) stayed at the Roma Park Hotel for a long weekend and enjoyed our stay. I will be honest, if you are not on a budget or are looking for a 'lovely' hotel, then this hotel probably isn't for you but as a young couple wanting an inexpensive trip, it suited us fine -... more

The only pro I can think of is the free parking. Lots of cons: no room service available after 10 a.m., awful breakfast in a claustrophobic and hot "roof garden", no air condition till June, small and noisy rooms, dusty unpleasant furniture, dirty bathroom... I stop here. Ah, and the "garden"? more

The rooms and bathroom were comfortable enough. The fourth floor that they call a restaurant isn't worth visiting. Grab a snack from the supermarket on your way into town in the morning, and don't return to the hotel hungry. Easy enough to get into town from. One suggestion, take a walk one morning to the catacombs, 1,200 m from the... more

Just had 3 nights at the Roma Park in Rome. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, however the hotel left a little to be desired. The walls in the bathroom were not of a good standard with mould on the shower etc. The room itself was very nice, a nice size and nice furnishings, for some reason there is a small kitchenette... more

I found this to be a very clean hotel, excellent maid service. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the rooms modern, with wooden laminate floors and attractive bed covers/curtains (which is rare in most hotels!) . No real facitilies for a 4 star hotel and a 10-15 walk to the nearest metro into the centre, which is a... more
