I booked a twin room for me and my daughter, we got a double room. The tv remote was redundant as ther was only 1 chanel, cartoons in Italian. The lift was marginally better than useless. Where was the bar? I couldn't stop scratching and found i had been bitten during the first night. Staff less than helpful. Never ever... more

Please do yourself a favor, do not stay at The Clarin Hotel! We couldn't even stay there one night! We knew it was not good when no cab drivers had ever heard of it out of about 5 of them that we talked to at the train station. The cab driver we had only found out after calling his company... more

Great location, we had sound and restful sleeping conditions. Easy acess to restaurants and convience stores. Close to coliseum, fountain de trevi, museums, ancient ruins, glorious history. Old world hotel cleanliness, a pleasure to behold. Airport only a few milles away . We enjoyed our stay, and will return soon hopefully. more

Well, to begin, you have to be aware of the first traveling room. Watch for your expectations. If you are looking for luxury and confort it may not be this one. It has a regular room, regular staff, regular meals, and a panthografic elevator for 2 peopel only. if you are traveling with lots of luggages watch out, you have... more

The hotel is a two star hotel in the very centre. It is perfect in tems of location if you want to dicscover the most of Rome and Italy. Stazione Termini is just 10 min walk from there. The Central line station Piazza de Republica is just 5 min walk. You should not expect the luxiary rooms. They are very... more

It was dirty, cramped, the ‘eating area’ was….well just that I wouldn’t call it a ‘breakfast room’. Our room was small the ‘shower’ was rubbish…… need I... more

The hotel is near the Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna, Colosseum and Panteon. The personal was friendship and serviceable. They offer many detail about what you can visit. The rooms are clean and quit I recommend this hotel. Delia and Gabi more

Do yourself a favor, and stay away from the Hotel Clarin. We had to lug our luggage up 3 levels (It seems in Rome that "level 2" is always level 3, because the reception area is considered "level 0." ) When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the overwhelming smell of sewage. Very damp, and you had... more

This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the station which is Ok but it is on the 2nd floor and you have to go up in a sort of 'cage' The hallway does not give a very good impression and is very shabby. Once you reach the hotel itself the whole thing has an air of scruffiness-- The... more
