There must be nicer places in Rome for the money. Road outside was noisey, room was shabby and all felt a bit disorganised. more

We stayed at this bed and breakfast for 2 nights and found it to be an average or an 'OK' place. We were picked up from the airport by an impatient driver (this was arranged through the B & B) who seemed 'put off' that our plane was 20 min. late. He charged us 10 Euro more than the agreed... more

This was a clean, safe, secure, and cozy bed "and breakfast" which is in a great location. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. They provided us with a map, tips and directions for Rome's biggest attractions. It is called a "bed and breakfast" however, breakfast is not provided unless you pay an extra fee. We didn't mind since there... more

We just arrived back after four nights at Roman and Italian B&B. The B&B is on the first floor of a fairly typical Roman residential building (a bit scruffy, but no major problems) right next to Manzoni tube station, to the east of the city centre. Unfortunately, Manzoni station is currently closed for improvements, so the nearest station is San... more

We had planned to stay in Tivoli on our last night night and just wing it for a hotel when we got there.....Tivoli was a dirty unwelcoming town so we kept driving on to Rome. After three hours of driving looking for a hotel we pulled up out the front of Best Western Presidetial, I Think, on Via Emanuele Filiberto.... more

As a graduate student in archaeology from the USA, I have travelled all over Europe for academic programs, excavations, and of course, for pleasure. My trip to Italy this time happily included all three! Initially I booked with Maddy and Marco to stay in Rome before a program began with a fellow student. We had both searched many different websites... more

Our experience with the Roman & Italian B & B in May 2006 was wonderful. The B & B is easy to find and is in a good location. There is a nearby ATM, and several small take-out restaurants near-by. There is not a sign but it is easy to find and Marco will meet you at the front. We... more

Roman and Italian Bed and Breakfast was an amazing B&B but it offered much more. It is located about 5 minutes walking from the city center and there is also a metro stop right in front of the building. The rooms are great and there is even satellite TV in the center room. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. However,... more

My husband and I stayed at the Roman and Italian B&B in September 2005. We did have an issue that there was no one at the B&B when we arrived. We finally were able to get in to the main building and one of the others staying let us drop our stuff off in the shared lobby. Outside of that... more

Hi Maddy and Marco, When we booked we didn't know what to expect, we only based our judgments on some forums that were positifs and actually it was all true: Very clean, very close to everything (We only took the metro to go to the Vatican, the rest of the time we walked to the B&B from our daily visits),... more
