We spent a week here and leave this Saturday. We have read the other reviews and can see how some would write a negative review as they did not prepare. So prepare, rent a car, and enjoy the beautiful countryside! There are supermarkets very close, do not drive during the rush hour and everything is easy to reach. We stocked... More

We stayed here a few years ago with our son while we were traveling througout Europe. Yes it's not near they train, yes it's on the outskirts of Rome, yes they charge for many things that other places provide for no additional charge. However we decided to take advantage of what they did offer, utilized the shuttle to the metro,... More

Pretty, but you will SPEND A FORTUNE on everything! No restaurant on site, no market or restaurant nearby, no free internet, required svc charge EU35/wk, and massive taxi fares arranged by hotel to go anywhere. Shuttle svc once/day, and NONE on Sat. Beds are pretty hard, hot water not very hot, no cleaning supplies for kitchen, (which guests are required... More

Dear Guest, Even when negative, comments are always well accepted,as they allow us to emprove. Normally we answer to the Guests who are not satisfied, because to the others,we can just say Thank You. In this case, we may just point out the fact that you wrote these lines on your arrival day, instead of the end of your stay. We won't go... More

I have no clue how this resort got such positive reviews. We did not like anything about it. It's very hard to find if driving your own car. The sign for the resort is faded and hard to read, especially at night. The room was sad and dismal- dirty, cracked walls, wallpaper peeling off, mold and rust stains in bathroom,... More

Carpediem Roma Golf Club is a resort found in Setteville, a small community approximately 20km west of Rome. It is easily accessible by car equipped with GPS. It offers spacious accommodations, a great staff readily available, a restaurant and a shuttle to the Rebibbia metro station (the closest metro station from the resort) that takes you to downtown Rome. This... More

Our family of two adults and a teenager enjoyed a one bedroom unit at Carpediem for a week. Because we had a car we drove to the Rebbibia train station whenever we wanted to journey into Rome. The station is a 15 minute drive from the resort and the subway ride into Rome varies from 25-35 minutes depending on the... More

Lovely self catering units. The hotel is a little out of town. About 30 minutes by car. The hotel is quite far from the train station, and there are no maxi cabs or taxis. You will have to rely on the daily morning shuttle to the station. You miss the shuttle, and you will have to come up with another... More

This resort is located outside of Rome and you really need a car and not rely on their shuttle service for 6 people at a cost of $3E each way per person. We had a three bedroom unit, one very small bedroom downstairs with a full bathroom right off the small kitchen and livingroom, a winding stairway that took you... More
