Very conveniently located, this hotel gives you all you need when visiting Rome: nice comfortable rooms and very friendly service. For a more private stay you can request a room in the annex. Breakfast is good, not great - but you don't come to Rome to eat at your hotel, do you? Concierges are attentive and always ready to give... More

I choose this hotel just for its position ( and according the trip reviews). It is near Theatre Sistina, Barberini square and the underground stop. I choose the single room because I was alone but is was not a good choice. The room was very little. One size is just the size of the bed plus a little table that... More

I went there for 5 nights from March 4 to March 9th, 2015. The room was booked a non smoking room with a shower/tub combination. I wrote an email to the hotel to confirm prior to arrive there that it was really a non smoking room, they answered back to me that it will be. I want to be as... More

I stayed here with my mom for about a week. We stayed longer than we planned because she had an accident and needed to recover. I must say everyone (men on reception, bell men, waitors, housekeepers, bar lady, everyone!) at the Stendhal Hotel was extremely supportive, nice and kind to us. In addition to the great support and service provided... More

We were supposed to stay at Mascagni Hotel but they messed up our reservation and double-booked our rooms. After bundling us in a taxi we ended up at Stendhal, their "sister" hotel. We didn't want to stay here but were given no choice. I'll be objective as I can. First thing to say is this place is never a 4... More

Spent 4 nights at the Hotel Stendhal as a birthday treat. Firstly this hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Rome! It is located within walking distance of many of the cities key attractions including Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. In fact we did not take any form of transport for the whole of our stay and walked everywhere from the... More

10 years ago, we were married and this was our first hotel stay on our honeymoon... The hotel held some amazing memories (and still does!) and many of these came flooding back on arrival a few weeks back. We chose to go back to the hotel on a recent trip (my brother's wedding in Rome) partly because of these memories,... More

Stendhal Hotel is located in a busy zone but you are in the heart of Rome which allows you to easily head out to all the landmarks that you are taking in. The staff was accommodating to whatever we needed. Our room category was "superior" which equaled just enough room for a person to walk into the room, and to... More

We spent four long nights at the Stendhal Hotel in Rome, Italy from Jan. 1 - 4, 2015. Long because the mattresses sagged terribly. The room was too small for the bathroom door to open all of the way. The heat kept the room about 80 degrees. We had to open the window to cool off the room but the... More

Dear Customer, Always we accept the bad reviews because we use it to improve our service, but reading your comments, there is no sense to reply you point to point; may be that we will change directly the planet. We await the new platform on the planet Mars ... and, of course, we will bring our milk !!! Best regards. More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
