We cut our staff short by two days . The location of the hotel is the only good thing. Very close to the hop on hop off bus stop. The first day we asked the staff about our room being hot and they stated it was against the law to turn the A/C on in Rome??? Then wifi access is... More

Spotlessly clean beds and bathrooms. Friendly efficient staff. Hotel location great for all Rome sites and transport system. Very nice building and good bar/cafe for morning coffee and epastries directly across the street. Good late night Irish bar one block up if required. Recommended.

Excellent location in Rome, we were able to walk everywhere from the hotel so it was very central. The staff are very helpful and informative. Rooms are on the small side but what more could you expect with it's location. They are modern and very clean. I would definitely stay there again

We stayed here in summer for a few days. We booked through lastminute.com so got a fantastic deal. The staff were nice and helped us navigate the city with a free map. The room itself was pretty big, the bed was huge (queen bed) and the bathroom was clean although not incredibly modern. It was very quiet even though it... More

This was the second time I stayed in this hotel. On the plus side are its central location, the helpful and friendly staff and the good breakfast. However, the rooms are dated and not very well equipped, the wifi in the rooms is rather slow and the price is quite high for the services offered. All in all, not a... More

It is a good cozy hotel in the middle of Rome and very close to all the main attractions! I was impressed with the breakfast which has a lot of variety and is of a very good quality. The only down side is the noise coming from the outside and from loud voices of the neighbours next door.

I booked the hotel as a four star hotel in Rome., 5 minutes from The Piazza di Spagna, and other famous place as the Trevi Fontain. It is not true, if you take a Subway you can go there in 5 minutes. Thats a big difference!! The room is very old, small and ugly. The Eurostar was the worst hotel I... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 4 nights in March in the economy double room and both of us cannot fault the hotel in any way. From the minute we arrived staff were very friendly, helpful and approachable supplying us with any information we needed to know. The location is superb, we saved so much money on taxis as... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
