Just came back from Rome yesterday, stayed 3 nights in this hotel. (august 21th- 24th) Arrival - Nice entrance into hotel, staff were helpful and spoke english. We arrived early in the morning around 11, and we could not get into the rooms until 4, but the staff at reception allowed us to leave our luggage with them and we... More

I stayed at this hotel for four nights in November 2014 with my brother and it was just great! The location is unbeatable; it's within walking distance of all the major sites: 10 mins from the Coliseum, 10 mins from the Spanish steps, 10 mins from the Pantheon; there's a cheap little supermarket opposite the street which was great for... Stayed here for four nights on our honeymoon trip round Italy . As soon as we arrived we found we had been upgraded free of charge and in our deluxe room there was also a lovely bottle of prosecco!! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, arranging taxis and giving us good advice to places to go and visit .... More

My parents booked this hotel but unfortunately my father had to have an emergency surgery in his eyes, which was completely unforeseen. He now cannot travel due to this, so when we called the hotel to cancel or change the dates, the man we spoke to was extremely inconsiderate, rude and abrupt. He refused to even make any changes as... More

We were there for 4 nights in August on our honeymoon. Even though we booked through a third party site we were happy with the room and service. Chiara at the front desk was very nice. Showed us common sites on a map and even pointed out public transit. The room was clean and of decent size. Keeping in mind... More

The room was clan and small, one small bed to share, location was very good in the heart of the city, near the central rail and bus station, and 10-15 minute walk to the Colosseum and other sites. Breakfast add on was 12 Euros, and average. The staff was very friendly and helpful

Nice hotel but a little bit to old...just need a refurbishment. Staff was very helpful and smily. Good breakfast with good variety. Location really good, just 5 min walking till Termini Station. You also can walk till the city center, just take 15min.

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
