Nice hotel but a little bit to old...just need a refurbishment. Staff was very helpful and smily. Good breakfast with good variety. Location really good, just 5 min walking till Termini Station. You also can walk till the city center, just take 15min.

We had to change hotel in the very last minute and we found this one for an amazing price. We stayed five nights in a superior room and it was just amazing. Location is awesome, restaurants around are super good and the breakfast at the hotel was delicious.

My wife and I stayed for two nights during a quick trip from Berlin. The rooms are clean and quiet and of average size. Hot water fluctuated wildly however. The location is very good; we walked to the Trevi Fountain (currently being refurbished btw) and Pantheon. The Colosseum is maybe a 30 minute walk. The hotel bar is a bit... More

If you're looking for a decent hotel with close proximity to all the main attractions in Rome, this hotel is in a great location. A short walk down the hotel street Via Nazionale, turn onto a side street and the Colosseum is within sight at about a 10-15 minute walk. It's that close. There's more than one supermarket or mini... Stayed here whilst in Rome to see Wales v Italy 6 Nations rugby game. Came back having been there 2 years ago and being very impressed with all aspects of its location and quality. Close to a good deal of the must see attractions in this great city.

1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2015 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Normally I do not write negative reviews but if you’re an American Express Centurion/Platinum card holder you will not be satisfied. The hotel was small and the staff did not really seem to care one way or another after they checked you in. The toilet leaked, the AC worked but it was the kind where you cannot change the temperature,... More

Stayed here for two nights in June for a quick sightseeing getaway. The location was what attracted us to this hotel and it did not let us down. Easily accessible from Ciampino airport - roughly a 30 min taxi journey at a flat rate of 30 euros. It is in walking distance of all the main sites and close to... More

We stay here our last three nights in Italy at the end of a two week trip. It was a perfect ending to a memorable vacation. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, the location was perfect for sightseeing on foot as it was centrally located close to all the famous landmarks. They served a wonderful breakfast buffet. The room... More

Stayed here for 5 nights at the beginning of June. A very pleasant stay, staff were very friendly and welcoming, the entrance to the hotelis particularly stunning, It is the perfect location to every monument or tourist attraction location 15-20 minutes walking distance, apart from the Vatican City which is a scenic 40minute walk over the bridge. Plenty of tasty... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
