We stayed here for 5 nights, got a great deal with the flight for last week in Nov. Location was decently located as it's a short walk to lots of places such as Colosseum, the Termini (main train station) Spanish steps, Trevi fountain to name a few. It's on a main street so it has street noise in forward rooms... More

The hotel was clean and the staff were very nice. However, strangely the AC doesn't work; the heater is the only option available so the rooms can be hot at times. Also we were situated near road works so our room would shake often and it was noisy

I spent 2 nights for a business reason in this hotel, which is indeed centrally located (which also means that rooms - even on the upper floors - are noisy). The hotel is created in an old house, it resembles a bit of a labyrinth. Elevators are really small (max. 2 persons), so you are forced to do some exercise.... More

Had a 3 night break in Rome, stayed at this hotel, wish I stayed booked elsewhere... So much wrong with this place, don't know where to start, so will give you what I can. When we arrived, greeting was ok, but was disorganized, 3 people on a shabby worn out reception, stunk of nicotine. Got keys for our room on... More

My second time at this hotel and I was very disappointed with the reception staff. It was not as friendly as I remembered from the first time with the exception of Massimo. But the room was very clean and comfortable and quiet although faced the side street. The bathroom is big but the floor of the bathtub is very slippery... More

Second visit to this hotel, friendly staff, good location for the Termini and exploring Rome. Plenty of restaraunts and bars nearby. The hotel was clean, the bar was okay for meeting before heading off, the hotel staff could not do enough for you.

Spent five nights here first week of October 2014, as part of a small tour group (30-40 others in our group stayed here also). Rooms were clean, roomy, and comfortable, with a short walk from the lobby each morning to the restaurant for breakfast - nice selection of breakfast offerings on the buffet and roomy dining area. The hotel offered... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
