My bf booked the hotel using priceline. We felt ripped off. After reading reviews from others we tried to take our precautions. First, I'm not a fan of stairs because of a broken ancle. Second, the rooms seemed small. Third, we are both light sleepers. Bf called the hotel to make sure that I wouldn't have to climb stairs and... More

I stayed here February 2014 and chose to come back with my boyfriend February 2015. We stayed 4 nights, Monday to Friday. Again, I was happy with the experience. The room was very small with no view as the window looked out on to a bricked in square at the centre of the building. This may not be acceptable for... More

I enjoyed my stay here. While the room was small I was working so was out most of the time. Its close to all the great sites in Rome and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast was good, especially the fruit and coffee. Can be a bit noisy with the trams but it didn't worry me.

The hotel is very well situated in Rome. From it you can walk anywhere. The area is always bustling with lots of shops and restaurants. The staff was very helpful with restaurant suggestions. They tailored them to your price point and geography. Additionally they helped with train reservations. Breakfasts were great. Always fruit cocktail as well as lots of pastries... More

First - the only sign for this hotel is about 12" across stuck on a second floor window. So if you are driving around looking for it - look up. The hotel is on the second floor and you need to walk through a dark door, dark hall and up dark stairs (or take tiny elevator) to get to the... More

We stayed at the hotel for four nights. The location is great, closed to all main sights and to for example Campo de' Fiori. Breakfast was ok. What was not ok, however, was the service. Very little English skills in the reception and no help or local knowledge offered. The reception would not even book us a taxi to get... More

I bid on priceline at $225. for a 4 star and got stuck with Hotel Cairoli. NO WAY should it qualify for a 4 star! Not even in Italy; first time I felt ripped off. I've notified priceline. We were put in the smallest room and had to be moved to a very large room that shook from the city... More

I stayed in this little 15-room hotel for two weeks during a course I was attending in Rome. I shared a room with a colleague and we both thought our room was tidy, spacious (there were rooms that were really small, too) and comfortable. The location of the hotel is excellent, almost anything and everything is within walking distance -... More

We stayed at this small first-floor hotel for just one night. The location is convenient both for the historic centre and buzzing Trastevere (for a huge selection of restaurants and bars). Visitors should not be too alarmed about the initial approach along a longish corridor; once out of the lift, all is fine. There are just 15 rooms. Upon arrival there... More

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
