My wife and I and two other couples spent a few days in this pathetic excuse of a hotel in May and none of us could find a good word to say about it. It bills iteself as a 4 star hotel and it is worthy of no stars. The hotel was unclean, the rooms were poor with antiquated tv's,the food...

This hotel may seem unattractive because it is not centrally located, but its great features and incredible prices make up for the location, which is not that poor, really. Th ehotel is connected to Rome's underground by a bus (# 32), which is quite frequent, so it's not that bad. It is also quite close to the Vatican, which can...

The room was very small and cramped. The shower curtain was filthy. Decor very old and worn. The floor was linoleum which I hate in a hotel room. Rather noisy. Bed wasn't very comfortable. No iron available.
A fellow traveller's handbag was stolen from her in the lobby when she put it down right next to her feet for about...

Rome is a nightmare to navigate and unless...

Was very apprehensive about this hotel after reading so many negative reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. Rooms was adequate and clean. Had a wonderful dinner in the dining room the first night. I had lamb chops that were fork tender. Really spoiled me for some of the other dinners on the tour. The manager went out of his way to...

I arrived with my family on the 29th Oct and had the worst experience of my life. The staff that night at the reception was very rude. My mother wanted an Air Conditioner on nd the reply from the reception was that Italy's Rule was that no A/C were to be switched on in winter which I was not informed...

I stayed in Grand Hotel Fleming in the first week of October 2011 for work.
The hotel is located near the “Foro Italico” so it’s very far from the downtown (about 25-30 minutes by taxi) and the only way to come to downtown it’s to take a taxi because there is a near underground stop!!
Be aware that the Grand...

The room was comfortable, spacious and unremarkable and the staff wasn't particularly interested in being helpful, although they did speak English. The hotel was packed with tour buses full of guests. The bed wasn't comfortable but the shower was hot. The included breakfast was pretty good. Our biggest complaint is the location--an overcrowded 30 minute bus ride from everything else...

Awful, awful, awful. We were transferred to this hotel when the hotel we'd booked into favoured the football team over us and gave way our room. Do not be fooled by the 4* guidance. It's a 2* at best and truly one of the worst hotels I've had the misfortune to stay in.
Aside from the staff being rude and...
