I stayed at this hotel during a Trafalgar tour. The hotel is outdated, far from the city center, and not very clean. The breakfast is so-so and they put out moldy fruit at breakfast. I would not recommend staying here. I stayed here at the beginning and end leg of my recent trip to Italy. During my second stay, the... More

We stayed heart both ends of a guided tour with Trafalgar. Our luggage was hauled in and out when necessary and the desk staff was most helpful assisting us finding some things to do whence had free time.

travelling around Italy by coach organized by Trafalgar, when we arrived in Rome at this first class hotel, we had a good stay. Clean and large room with Satellite TV with CNN and BBC channels. very good sleep quality thanks to his location facing a pinewood and not far away from Vatican City . The staff was very friendly and... More

The hotel room was small, but the building was clean and well kept. The breakfast was excellent. Elevator as available, but small. It was difficult to walk to the subway. There were not restaurants or shopping in close proximity. We would not stay here again.

The Pinewood hotel was a good selection for our needs. We decided, last minute, to stay overnight in Rome before our flight home. We wanted somewhere relatively close to the tourist attractions without paying dearly for it. The hotel was VERY difficult for us to find. Google maps was no help at all. I would highly recommend getting a GPS... More

Stayed here with our tour group. Very clean hotel and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good and they had a wide variety of food. We had a dinner there for our group and the lasagna was excellent. Since we were with a tour group we did not have to worry about transportation although we were... More

We stopped for 2 nights on a Shearings coach tour and found the hotel comfortable but basic. The rooms are very compact but clean and functional and the restaurant serves adequate food and a fairly good breakfast. The location is not great but as we were on a tour it was not a problem and the Coach could get us... More

Second to the last stop on the Metro - way out in the burbs. Walk to everything. Rooms were dated and there was mold on the shower ceiling and huge cracks in the caulking around the tub in our bathroom. Beds were very hard. Internet was not free and service was scattered in the hotel. We were part of a... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. A nice hotel with clean rooms, good breakfast choices and polite staff. On the downside, very hard mattress and pillow and very dated decor. But the biggest negative had to be the inconvenient location. Despite the metro being 10 mins walk, we found having to travel into town each day to see the sights... More
