Great place to stay at a good price. Nice spacious two room accomodation (room 20) looked like it has just been renovated. Fridge and a little two ring cook top as well. Very quiet also. Good walk, 15 minutes, to the Vatican but plenty to see on the way. Petrol station and grocery within 5 minutes also. No on site... More

perfect for the short visit to Rome(4days). Self catered there is s fridge and a small two ring stove. Not that we planned to do any cooking but handy for morning coffee and to keep the Prosecco cold!! A short (20 min ish) stroll down the road to St Peters Sq this hotel is conveniently located, fairly priced and above... More

Stayed there for three nights. The hotel is a big converted Italian villa, which was beautiful and surrounded by equally beautiful villas. We lived on the top floor in what I could call a lovely small apartment really and we had a huge balcony where we had breakfast every morning. The appliances are old and the cutlery do not match... The Villa Tassone is located nearby the Cipro underground station very close to the Vatican. The room we stayed in was spacious and two storied with a single bed, kitchen and large balcony on the first floor and the bathroom and main bedroom upstairs. All of the appliances were fantastic and worked well. A single word of warning regarding the... More

We stayed at the Villa Tassoni for 7 nights and absolutely loved it. We stayed in a maisonette style room, with a small bed, balcony and kitchenette on the first floor and a double bed, and bathroom on the second floor. We were only 2 travellers, but it would have also been the perfect place for a family stay. The... More

We had the suite with bedroom and living room, dinning area and kitchenette, plus two beds with trundles, ideal for families. It is an older building in a non-touristy zone. Kitchen appliances are old but working still. Elliot's was a good place to eat pizza after walking in the city all day, and It was cool to seat among the... More

We had a 10 days stay at Tassoni. Since it it's in the peripheral Rome area, a Taxi will cost from 45-55 Euros per trip to the Airport. Once there, they will book you fast. The employees are extraordinary (thanks to Carlo) and helpful. If you are from the US, be advised that European rooms will be sometimes less spacious... More

Very nice place, close to the Metro, which made easy access to all of Rome and the Vatican. Everything was within walking distance. We loved being able to sit outside, upstairs on the patio overlooking the street. The staff were friendly and helpful. They arranged for our pick up at the airport. They recommended some excellent places to eat not... More

I would definately stay here again. I have visited and stayed in Rome several times over the past few years and by far this property was my favourite. It was an easy walk to the metro station where subways or busses can get you into the city center. The rooms were adequate size (actually on the large side for Europe),... More

Our stay was overall a pleasant one, except for the loud people in the next room. Being an old building, sound travels very easily. The hotel staff are very helpful and gave us maps and sent us to nice places to eat. The rooms are clean and a nice size, the bathroom is terrible. It is small and not the... More
