Good price in a decent location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great as a place to sleep if you plan to explore rome all day but the room might seem a little small if you intend to spend a lot of time in it. Look up location before arrival as street is not named in all maps/guidebooks. Breakfast a touch... More

Arrived at the train station in Rome and caught a taxi to the hotel as I had no map. I was charged €27 for a 7 minute walk so my advise is do not catch a taxi! Arrived at the hotel, staff were really friendly and helpful. I never made it to breakfast (which was included) so unfortunately I'm unable... More

I stayed with my girl friend at the Seiler hotel in July 2015. The location being close to the train station, close to the metro and 20 mins walk from some important sites made it seem like a good value for money option. However, we had a terrible experience. Photos don't correspond to room: We booked a double room that... More

Stayed there during our five nights in Rome and iot's the perfect location.About 15mns walk from piazza di spagna, shopping street Via del Corso piazza di papaolo and pretty everything else.one stop on the train from Roma termini. We went to the hotal without a reservation and it was honestly the best thing we did. We ended getting the most basic room... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel expecting some bad things as we had read the review. We were pleasantly surprised when we got there. The hotel is in a awesome location. Its about 10 minutes away from the bus station, so its dead easy to get to, from any transfers. You can walk to all the main attractions... More

Nothing to write home about a sparse room. Bedroom door would not lock from the inside, wardrobe door was almost hanging off had to tighten it up with my screw driver. Shower curtain frame just about hanging on.

I have stayed in this hotel many times and found the location perfect, only minutes from Termini and around the corner from Metro Republica and just off Via Nazionale & Via XX Settembre so it's an ideal base for visiting what Rome has to offer. Staff were friendly and informative and the building itself was interesting. The rooms are basic... More

Since I have quite some things to say, and I expect some would visit in other periods of the year, I would point out firstly the positive sides which are as follows: good location, rooms clean, towels change every day, extremely polite girl working a night shift at the reception desk, breakfast typical continental, small rooms but we didn't really... We stayed here for 5 nights .The staff friendly. Room comfortable and clean, the shower old but very clean. Every day we had clean towels! We lived on the 4th floor and we had an elevator .The breakfast very good! Free wifi in reception and lounge but not in the room. Is 3 minutes' walk from Repubblica Metro and relatively... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
